Ever since the Rodney King incident more people have steadily been watching, and sometimes been horrified by what they see. After living in SoCal off and on for 20 years, this Kelly Thomas murder has me getting out of "Dodge." (Along with the ambush of Douglas Kerby by Long Beach cretins who even savored the kill by first "observing" their prey for over 1/4 hour and then unloading multiple blasts from a 12 gauge... as Douglas sat on the steps clueless to what was about to end his life. The city counsel can make local rules/laws and can pressure the City Manager but the City Manager can refuse requests from the counsel (risking his job, but he may have a long term contract). I witnessed tazing incidents on two different occassions in fullerton. In the past 3 years. The first man who was tazed with two guns at the same time. I saw no provication from him. He was taken off the train and taken away in an ambulance.The other incident was recently at the train station depot. I heard multiple sounds of either tazer or stun gun. This gentleman did not survive more than a week after this. I looked on the fpd web page and could nothing about their tazer policy.

I've lived here, in this apartment over 10 years now, and plan to move to San Diego Cnty in 2011. Fullerton has a unique central location offering convenient commutes to the IE, SGV, LA, SFV, LAX, ONT, John Wayne Airport, and Simi Valley isn't too far off. Lake Hemet, and La Jolla, are 100 miles or 2 hours away. Fullerton is near Heaven for me.
