  • losing my religion and wich way and touch of hate are awesome songs that are on (N) Utopia and Collateral Defect

  • @melodeath95 Oh and (N) Utopia and Collateral Defect killed Graveworm. Losing my Religion is an embarassment of a cover song.

People don't get tired of bands after listening for so long, people understand what they like and don't like it when a band changes their entire style just to cater for a more casual audience.

How can I put this so you will understand? Do you like computer games? Personally I don't play World of Warcraft, but look, they killed the game by making it casual to make money.

  • it never killed them they are still true to there sound and losing my religion sounds like the songs on The Angels Reach The Beauty" which is my fav album

  • dude every album was great even the new ones. it seems people just get tired of bands after listening for so long but there still the best

  • q empiece ya coño!

  • And the ending was a total ripoff of the Ring..

    Song is awesome though!!!

  • stay alive is a good movie. after i watch it i was so sacred i turned on every light in my house before i went to bed.

  • puussy

  • Hey! Im a very big video game addict, and since its about a game when u die in the game u die in real life. it even stoped me play games for 3 mouths.

  • Damn you guys got that scared?! I thought it was corny as hell...

  • woah, I've only ever seen abit of stay alive at a friends house, I now want to see all of it ;)

  • This is real metal! Graveworms covers are great. They even made REM and Bonny Tayler songs sound metal.

  • lol well I don't know if they make them sound metal xD but Graveworm's covers are major epic!

  • Nope. Graveworm make them sound like a different pop version. Graveworm is the shittiest melodeath band around.

  • haha, pop, well you're opinion is yours no doubt, but so was mine. Deal with it.

  • Well, my message was sarcastic. This band isn't good and their covers suck. And the think they are black metal (LMAO).

Plus my message was posted aeons ago.

  • 'band isn't good' 'their covers suck' all are a matter of opinion. Try not to preach it as fact. And time's no factor.

  • The band still claim to be black metal when they're melodeath. That means they can't accept what they are. That makes them suck even more, and that is a fact.

  • Who cares what they call themselves, really either like them for the music, or don't.

People seem to get too obsessed over the band's genre instead of their actual music. And personal grudges are worse.

  • I'll admit that the vocalist is good, but that's it.

They sound like children of bodom but less technical.

Fuck, the guitars are even out on tune on at least half of their albums.

  • lol I partially disagree about CoB, I listen to them both. But they're a decent band, not great (thank fuck not mainstream) but still a decent group.

  • I realise I'm 4 months too late but you can't deny that Graveworm were pretty epic in their prime. Their latest 2 or 3 albums have been a complete joke though, typical when a band goes mainstream they create an automatic gay sound. For the record also, melodeath is a faggot genre for the most-part, I'd rather listen to black metal, death metal, symphonic any day. Melodeath is like a step up from emo if you ask me.

  • There is alot of great melodeath. Though there are heaps of shit too.

There's nothing wrong their old sound (thoug I personally don't like it), except for the guitars that are out of tune.

Graveworm sold out and became gay, but they have always been melodeathn not black.

  • I know they're not black metal. I know they're melodeath. It's only really the recent wave (well I say recent we're talking about 5 years) of melodeath that has been pretty faggoty because all of the hardcore and emo kids started getting involved. Now I love symphonic and melodic themes I just don't like the fact that most bands sit a fucking emo kid infront of the microphone stand and do generic riffs. For a fan of extreme metal and a lot of classical music it's a shame the genre is ruined now.

  • Damn right. The melodeath scene is full of shit because of those lame kids.

But the genre isn't ruined because some dipshits get in.

  • Hello, I'm Direngay and I'M an ignorant fucking retard! I bet some of the blackmetal/deathmetal bands you listen to have melody in them some where, maybe not as much as graveworm, but they have it in there some where. Melody is every where you dumb fuck.......most ignorant shit i've heard in a long time there buddy, congrats.

  • How am I fucking ignorant? I have 400gb worth of metal on my PC and I know what I like, I can also say that most of the hardcore/emo kids have moved up to the deathcore and Melodeath genre and RUINED it for everyone.

I'm not saying I don't like melody, that would be fucking retarded, especially considering I'm very passionate over Symphonic metal and classical/operatic music. I'm just saying that 90% of the Melodeath genre is filled with kids with emo singers and generic riffs, so get FUCKED!

  • Not Melodeath 1/4 of my school listenes to deathcore im the only one who listenes to melodeath and like hallf my school is Emo

    supposedly

  • Melodeath is just as gay as emo and deathcore, seriously, but you are 14 so I'm not surprised you enjoy it. You were probably listening to punk/pop 2 years prior to that.

Anyway, each to their own I guess, I just can't be listening to the homo-erotic tunes of the majority of melodeath. It's just as gimmicky and commercial as the other shite you see on music TV.

I'll leave you with a band name example to sum up the melodeath genre.

    "Eternal Tears of Sorrow"

Gay name isn't it? Gay band too.

  • I don't think one reply is good enough for you so I'll expand further.

I also said I liked Graveworm, I listen to their early albums all the time, I quote myself "Graveworm were pretty epic". It's not my fault that they turned shit with new albums, lost all that made them great and released shit like (N)utopia and Collateral Defect album.

How can you even be pissy enough to call me ignorant over my statement on what Melodeath has turned into? If you were fan 10 years ago you'd understand.

  • All good man. Rock on fellow metal brother. Not pissy, just misunderstood.

I know, when people take slipknots name I feint when I ask them what kind of metal they listen to. It's all good you know, I just hate how they try to act all hardcore because their lead singer is a "pop star threat" but he ain't dead "yet."

  • I guess I should add. I was quick to jump on what you said because you targetted all of melodeath, meaning every band in that genre.

I guess my judgment misfired on you, but I'm tired of all the bullshit that spews on youtube, it's like the one thing that will ensure fucking ignorance in the whole world, not just from the careless and ignorant comments towards music, but everything else as well.

  • ma ke è sta cacata??

  • coooooooooool

  • Good or not, I think it's a cool experiment. Sometimes theese things work out, sometimes they

    dont.

  • mucho mejor es la de iron maiden, aunque meter un violin es una genialidad (que seguro que muchos habiamos pensado)

  • Destruction? The screamer in Graveworm is the greatest screamer of all time. The man has more talent in one of his pubic hairs than you.

  • i wouldnt say the BEST screamer but he is pretty damn good! he is similar to dani filth(COF) and Shagrath(dimmu borgir)

  • iron sux

  • This sucks compared to Maiden.. Honestly, wth. I usually like stuff like this more, but this is just destruction of a great song.

  • thank you this version is the remake of iron maidens version and this is graveworm, not cradle of filth or children of bodom they always seem to mix this song up, even on lime wire!!!!

  • this is graveworm, but cradle of filth did do a remake of this amazing song. i dont think COB did a remake. i think cradle's remake is on the cruelty and the beast album

  • correction, the song they covered for Cruelty was "Hallowed Be Thy Name"

  • holy dooky tha eye scared me filipino pride

  • Some people thinks this song is Children of bodom's or Cradle of filth's song, but Damn, it's original version by Iron Maiden, and this cover version is Graveworm's song :)

  • yeah, some unknowen underground band called Cradle of filth made this song (verson), yeah maiden did do the origional, but COF just made it better

  • it was children of bodom not cradle of filth mate xD

  • this is my favourite horror movie!!! but i can't understand why milo died nuuuuuu ç___ç

but after all i loved it!!!!

  • lol i dont even know this graveworm but i like it but i wished cob would make a song like this 1 instead but plz cut the crappy violins plz

  • this has destroyed one of the best songs in the world

Fear of the dark by Iron Maiden rest in peace

this song is shit compared to maiden

  • fear of the dark isn't something special

it is ok but this version is more melodic then original

  • this movie scared the crap out of me when sophia bush died

  • Umm to the people who think this is COB - Go kill yourselves... THIS IS GRAVEWORM!!! DIPSHITS!!

  • what a waste of a perfectly good maiden song

  • lol wtf are u talkin' about Children Of Bodom?? this is Graveworm dumbass!

  • no this one's COB

  • sorry... but this is Graveworm, lol have u ever heard children of bodom. alexi laiho does not sound like that.. fag

  • right, sorry, i realised that after a while...and YES, i love COB...sorry...

  • haha:D

  • and besides, children of bodom never uses violin in their songs, so why would they use it in this song lol?

  • I love both Children of bodom and Iron maiden you cant compare them because threy are two types of music keep on ROCKING MY PEPOLE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • FUCKING LIES, Iron Maiden has been the most influential band in thepast 25 years, Iron Maiden PWNS children of a Bodom.

    UP THE IRONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unless it's Follow the Reaper, honestly I liked FTR better than any Maiden album, but other wise yeah definitely.

  • cob kills iron maiden . how sad ! I Love Iron Maiden

  • yea, its NOT CHILDREN OF BODOM.

  • This song is from Graveworm, from Scourge of Malice cd, not from Children of Bodom

  • aWESOME SONG BY cHILDREN OF bODOM BUT THE VIDEO SUCKS

  • Children of Bodom "covered" this from Iron Maiden.

  • Yeah its not COB my bad I wrote it for the wrong song I meant "Aces HIgh" by Iron Maiden

  • yeh nothing like bodom, this is graveworm.

  • ok lol, COB covered it off of Iron Maiden like a long time ago, then Cradle of filth came around and covered COB's version of it. lol wow

  • Wow...it really isn't Cradle. Damn, well it's all over the place that it's Cradle's cover. Cradle even has it in their Album list, and lyrics...so what the hell? Who should I believe...i'm extremely confused right now...and if so...where is Cradle's cover...I am holding the album right here, in my hands, hearing this song, and the lyrics to it...

    -Rene

  • can someone upload abandoned bye heaven? please

  • This just cant be COB, they have much better gutar !!! This is Graveworm, but this is awesome Cover made by Graveworm!!!

  • Its cob muther trucker.....cradle of filth??? lol xD u have no sense of music....the singer is alexi and guitar rhyms are tipically of cob...u suck man

  • this is not cob!!! ots either cradle or graveworm

  • lol u guys.. this is not from cradle of filth.. its from Children of Bodom (Fear Of the dark Cover)

    Cob ARE LEGEND!

  • cradle would be a good band if they got a new singer. and yes he does sound like a little girl. LAME!

  • This doesn't even sound like Cradle of Filth. How can you people keep confusing it? The black metal element is too sophisticated to be Cradle of Filth...plus, the vocalist doesn't sound like a little girl.

  • cradle of filth sux but that song rocks!

  • very very nice video and song^^

  • este tema no es para blakc metal

  • best verson of fear of the dark ever!!!!!!!!!

  • and the death metal part rox!

  • I love the song

  • This is serieus from Cradle of Filth

but as you know the original is from Iron Maiden.

  • The original version is indeed from Iron Maiden, but the black metal version is not from Cradle of Filth. If you'd look for Graveworm's dicography, you'll find out that the song comes from their album "Scourge Of Malice". Song 7 to be precise.
