  • found this in a discount bin many years ago, it grew on me, then realized it's produced by Sergio Mendes. Went to see Sergio at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco in mid '90s, went backstage after and met him and his wife, the woman on this album! She said she was 19 then...Great thrill to meet them both! If you like Sergio, check out the 1962 album with Cannonball Adderly--it was produced by the legendary Orrin Keepnews and brings me to tears each time I hear it--a masterpiece!!
