I dont know where you get the idea that marines dont depend on other branches... Marines are more dependant than anyone else. They have no academy, they have no medical or chaplain personell. (The Navy provides corpsmen and chaplains and holds slots at Canoe U for them. Marine pilots are trained by the navy and are designated "Naval Aviators" etc..) The marines are far from autonomous despite their yut yut semer fi bullshit...

you won't be a fighter pilot for much longer that 15 to 20 years after that you can go to the regular aviation, almost all of the pilots do it like that.

Don't attract that negative attention to yourself, you need to go out and do it, math is not hard if you repeat it everyday, bring a recorder to class and listen to your teachers voice over again, that is how I do it and I also hate math....Pilots don't use that much math at all, they just need to demonstrace knowlege of it because there is a direct link between Math and hig IQ's

very wise, when you say you are bad at this you never try..and then you officially become bad at it when you never try it. i suck at English, i have ideas but always get low marks for being unable to communicate, now i know its mainly because im short on vocabulary due to not reading, which i didn't enjoy doing much because I couldn't concentrate on the book.

hey keep your head up! You'll get there. My buddy flies F-15 and I swear he majored in basket weaving..You dont have to be an engineer to fly. Do your best and a 4 yr degree in something..doesnt have to be math crazy..but I'm sure any pilot will tell you there is no way around a thick work load, so take each challenge as preparation for challenges to come! Break turn airspeed is the optimum turning speed of an aircraft. To fast or too slow and you can't turn as sharply. The best turning speed of most fighters is actually only 300-400 knots. Any slower and you're in trouble.
