Maybe when I get old enough I'll have rings around my head, too. That'd actually be pretty friggin cool, if you ask me. Just walk into a public place, "HEY! What's happenin'!"
Anyone noticed the 4 notes of the main theme from Waldteufel's Skater's Waltz are in here at 2:25? What an amazing difference in outcome. Waldteufel's Skater's Waltz is so chirpy and lovely. Quite the contrary to Holst where he goes from those same notes to a full on intense uproar of sound. I love it. Holst you master!
Whoa, you really kinda messed it up ^^' But I like it this way.
Still, don't you like to add that to the video description? Because there are probably more people who think the sound belongs there. I'm glad to be aware now that it's not the "real" saturn track :)
I love Gustav Holst, he was a great composer, genius in fact. Until recently I didn't know he was British.. Added to favourites.

Looks like Chuck Norris ate off a fourth of Saturn's ring...

Saturn is my favourite planet other than Mother Earth. Go Saturn, age all the other planets except Earth!

Ah.. Saturn.. so cold, so beautiful. The old man chained underground by his upstart son. The Titan.
Saturn is really the f'in coolest planet, and this is my favorite of the "Planets" by Holst as well.

This reminds me of the ominous theme playing when Nostromos lands on the alien planet and starts exploring the Derelict.

I hate when they rush through it. This is meant to be played much slower than this. However the feeling of armeggedon is sensed.

I wonder what instrument that upcoming rythm is at 5:44? It sounds electronical to me, that's why I'm surprised.
In general: great stuff :D

It's the soundtrack of the documantary shown, I afterwards realised that I hadn't muted it!!

@ensimon It almost works though doesn't it? DJ style mashups of classical and electronica. It's the next musical frontier.

@derBene I believe it's a harp

@fpdotmonkey Ah, I can imagine that. :)

@derBene I think that's a string bass, but like he said, it was from the documentary shown, it actually makes it sound cooler.

@AMAZINGDOG402 I think so, too. This is probably blasphemy but I'd like some good remix of the Planet Suite. ^^

@derBene That is absolutely an analog synthesizer. Someone must have added it in.

It's named "Celestia"-2004, it was offered as a bonus in a PC Magazine, but I suppose there has been several updates since then!
