  • Genious

  • david byrons was gone bye the time under pressure was done and it was done bye bowie

  • Love the crossbow he did at 2:24.

Btw, what did Freddie mean by a "right carnival outside"? Was there an actual carnival near the venue Queen was playing at that night, or was there just some crazy shit going on that was comparable to a carnival?

  • my god...roger could scream in those days :P

  • @theyounginc yeah... he was amazing in screaming...

  • did Freddie have some problem with his microphone???

  • @lolomegadeth87

    Yes, unfortunatly :(

  • I can´t understand who could have clicked "I don´t like this"

    Must have been deaf.

  • @dukenukem211 nope they weren't deaf because even deaf people can hear Queen. I guess they just clicked the wrong one. How do u tell if someone is a liar? You ask them if they like Queen if they say no they are lying.

  • @rekoonsghjkl You're right. They must have clicked the wrong button. Maybe they were blind?

  • @dukenukem211 Or just gay?

  • Listening to this, I would have sworn it was from '75 the latest. It's amazing how little his voice changed during the early 70s, and it isn't until you hear one of their first songs live that you realize it. Awesome concert.

  • this would have been one of the last times this song was played/ last tour with this song, wasnt it 78 onwards they never or very rarely played this

  • this would have been one of the last times this song was played/ last tour with this song, wasnt it 78 onwards they never or very rarely played this

  • i loooooove freddie's outfit!!!

  • naz name you got

  • why thank you :)

  • QUEEN FUCKIN' ROCK.

    ('Nuff said.)

  • yeah, with your intellect at least

  • Queen en los 70s era Hard , heavy, Jazz , progressivo .

  • queen is hard rock

  • PLEASE QUEEN!!!!!! Release this concert official on DVD!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! Their greatest concert!!!!!!

  • They didnt play this jam much live at all

  • Yes they did!!

  • HER MAJESTY!!!!! QUEEN FOREVER!!!!!

  • super super super QUEEN FOREVER

  • woooooaaaaah, soooo great

  • Weird that the live version is slower than studio. Normally they're much faster

  • this is the heavy metal song of queen

  • Princess of the universe too

  • wow!!! Queen's hot and sexy!!! i just so love how brian may rocked so hard with that guitar... :)

  • This Is heavy metal!!! Queen Rocks !!!!

  • the music is so fast lol

  • i agree,,you cant beat the first 6 albums..but i wouldnt want to be without any of the other albums either..

  • bloody damn f*****g GREAT !!!!

  • la vache .. il a pas du etre content mercury avec tout ces problemes techniques.. dommage, c etait une belle performance

  • I agree with everyone that queen was technically better in the 80s... but their songs were more interesting in the 70s,, I would have liked to see the 1985 queen playing old songs like millonare walz or lilly of the valley

  • is freddie's mic cutting out or is just the recording?

  • but insaying John was in his prime during the 70s i was meaning musicly the songs they played suited his style and or showed his imence skill on the bass and just that era Queen were playing back then some quite heavy stuff with really brought out Deacons skill on bass. but he was much better 80s wise in writing great songs such as friends will be friends, breakfree to name a few. shame the magic album was him at his prime writing 3 sngs as that was the last album b4 freddie became ill with aids

  • can anyone agree wth me that john Deacon is a fucking man that dose not recive the creadit that he should do that everyone is in dept to esp the ones who only reconise roger brian and of course Freddie listen to that whole song and youl most certinly agree with me the bass in that whole song is so intence and the combernation of the drums justs complets it. he was in his prime durin 70s. wsh i was 20 back in thoes days to witness than being 20 now and being exposed to absolute crap musicly today

  • John Deacon is a very underrated bassist. He deserves more attention in my opinion

  • John Deacon is the best bassist in the world for ME...

  • Roger is recognised for being able to do IMMENSE FALSETTO, and being a rock solid drummer. But without John Deacon, he doesn't seem anywhere near as good as he is here. So basically, John Deacon deserves as mch credit as the rest of them. They say Freddie made Queen, but it was all of their amazing technical abilities that rocked the world.

  • My favorite Queen concert!! 2nd is Live at Montreal in '81 and Hyde Park '76!

  • Absolutely timeless. Queen at their best!

  • 3rd favorite Queen Concert (1st is live at the rainbow '74, second is live at the Hammersmith Odeon '75"

In my opinion Queen was better in the 70s than any other era. Freddie's voice was exceptional back then, it still was in the 80s and 90-91, but 70s Freddie just blows my mind

  • I SO AGREE WITH YOU 100%!! About everything you wrote! :D The favorite concerts, same order, and that they were better in the 70s. I LOVE QUEEN! :D lol

  • lol amazing what somking dose and on that note could be haha a potentialy good use for a add against or for smoking!!! freddie before he took up smoking like here and a after when he was full on into it as he was during the wembly concert when he did struggle for ex with the lap of the gods song to hit the highest notes that he can hit although in saying that most of his highest notes wernt live but on album leaving it up to the ever dependible Roger to do the high notes live!!!

  • I like their music from the seventies more, but I'd say Freddie was hands down a better live vocalist in the 80s. He was always exceptional throughout their whole career. Never heard the man hit a bum note, but the reason why I believe his singing was better in the 80s was because he developed alot more power, his vibrato became more prominent and he hit his highest note in Queens history in 1985 in the Japan version of 'Impromptu'. I believe it was a D6. About as high as Mariah Carey can go.

  • awesome!!! great performance!!!! brian, roger, john and freddie rocks.

  • This song reminds me of the saying, "hit the floor running". The start the song off like there's no tomorrow. This songs RAWKS.

PS: I love, LOVE Freddie's outfit!!!!!!!

  • Yeah!

You gotta loooooooooove THE MIGHTY HARLEQUIN LEOTARD! <3

  • I do love that harlequin unitard..and I love the man in it to...mmmm

    yeah....

  • ME TOO!!!!!!

  • I really want this song on my IPOD. Does anyone know how I can turn this live version into an MP3? HELP!!!

  • Queen on top form, Rock On!

  • the gratest live band ever.

  • His mic keeps cutting out...

  • Freddie's mic keeps cutting out!

  • Can't get enough of their concert at Earls Court, Freddie looks so freaking cool, and he's really on top!

  • what on earth are you on about pal

you oviously dont understand what freddie was all about then do you

  • Ur newbie : ] U know what is R'n'R? R'n'R is Queen ^^ Queen plaing in many style pop, jazz, hard rock, soft rock, pop, small thing funky :D sry but my english is shites but i know a lot of Queen ^.*

  • what do you mean "fake brittish accent"?!

he had a REAL brittish accent :l

  • good song the vocals are to slow and not pickes upvery well does any body know where i could get early queen concert footage

  • How did he change costumes so quick?

  • MAGIC!!

  • such a great overlooked queen song :'/

  • freddie puts such power into this song when he says ogre battle lives forevermore!

  • Best version is hammersmith i think, its so god damn raw

  • are you sure .. these version is slowly and cold for me. dont compare with the powrfull an fast like earls court

  • I'm surprised by this song! Although it was awesome, it definitely isn't Queen's usual style. More of Led Zeppelin's style, you know what I mean?

They did it amazingly, though, and it was an extremely good song.

  • Yeah I know what you mean. Probably one of May's songs. Definitely buílt on the riff. ? I dunno, just guessing here. :D

  • It was actually written by mercury on guitar. He came up with the riffs to. This has to be the heaviest thing they ever done. But why do I get the fealling that the studio version in much faster...

  • no its not this is faster lol

  • mercury written on piano but they(band) arregemented for a guitar version

  • Their two first L.P. was in this style...awesome

    First Album: Queen

    Second Album: Queen II

  • queen 2 album is probably one of their best albums. Even Brian May says so :D...

  • I totally agree!

  • @winnetouch i personally think the 80s was queens best work.

I mean:killer queen show must go on its a kind of magic i want to break free and countless other songs.

The songs just go on and on.

Then again:i also love the 70's stuff too.

  • @piromaniac9999 Except that Killer Queen is from 1974 and The show must go on from 1991 (not the 80s) :P. I still think this is probably their best album but if I personaly like innuendo better. A LOT better :P

  • @winnetouch You are forgetting then about its a bit of magic flash one vision

    i want to break free.

I also think that i loved the videos that came with them and the high note you see in the 80 concert in some of the songs.

    still:1975-1991 amazing.

I think that wile 1971-1975 stuff was amazing, his stuff got better and became less like someone else and started to develop his own style.

  • @winnetouch Did you see the song that freddy did with david byrn? HOLY FUCKING SHIT!! david fucking byrn.

OMFG!! and the song with david bowie was also awesome.

    freddy is the man

  • @piromaniac9999 I don't believe freddie ever did anything with david byrn...

  • @winnetouch I heard it myself,i know david byrns voice.

At least i think it is,it sounds like him.

  • @piromaniac9999 Yeah. David BOWIE. Tell me what song is suppose to include Byrns' voice. To my knowledge they never did anything with them.

  • @winnetouch I forgot the name since i was looking at a bunch of diff stuff including the odlest stuff of queen from 1971-1975.

I'm pretty sure its in the 80's.

  • @winnetouch The song with david bowie was awesome.

    That's:under pressure.

  • Queen 2 is a king in the rock album.

  • OMG, who the f%&k to they make it sound better live than the albums, this guy's are not from this planet, simply WOW, there are no words to describe their live performances!!!!!!

  • Hes from the planet Mercury ;P

queen is such a beautiful, kick ass band and no one can top them NO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!...MAYBE the Beatles but its a close match

  • Genesis and queen only two bands made much better performances in live in those years !!!!

  • Sorry, you forget another one: Pink Floyd!

  • I saw them on this tour, in Phoenix. They were amazing. thanks for the vid. (Too bad about Freddie's mic.) Queen IS rock!!!

  • OMG! This is so awesome- I do not have the words. Thanks loads. Queen II is such a great album. I am surprise it wasn't a huge hit in the US.

  • The best version of this beautiful song played live. Although Freddie's mic seems to fail time after time, I love the sound of the video... it's so freaking CLEAR!!! Queen ROCKS, forever.
