The South Island gets better snow, but last few seasons have been average. Also more choice in South Island and lots of good Terrain parks- half pipes, kickers, rails etc if you are into freestyle. Doesnt really compare to Canada, but for Northern Hemisphere off-season, probably the best option. Fresh powder is a bit of a rarity
went to CAN cypress and Mt. washington. planning to go NZ end of JUL or AUG how does the snow there compare to CAN? wat month and how often is there fresh powder?
