Sonic 2 was a true masterpiece. In my opinion, the best game ever made for Genesis. Sonic 1 was hard to top but they did it. This game had amazing zones, great gameplay, the special stage was incredible, great bosses, there is nothing not to like about this game. I still love playing this game in 2011. The vs. mode was great to play against friends. Did I also mention some of the greatest video game music ever ( the oil ocean zone song is second to none).

@80sGiraffe Sonic 3 and Knuckles, aka, What sonic 3 was supposed to be is also a masterpiece, I think just SLIGHTLY better than Sonic 2. I'm not trying to argue, as this is my own opinion and I respect your opinion very much. Oil Ocean is good, but for my money, far and away the unused track that was supposed to go in to Hidden Palace Zone is a great piece. Once again, this is my opinion. Have a nice day :D

I got the same exact routes for most of the levels. But you kinda missed some jumps and bumped into things you should've avoided. For example you could've gotten 20 sec in Chem Plant 1 but that bump in the begining screwed you. Anyway nice job. Speed runs are difficult because timing is essentials, well done :)

Wow, Emerald Hill Act 1 in 20 seconds. Not very far from my best times, but the air bounce combo was awesome.

Anyway, the REAL Sonic 2 challenge is getting the Emeralds. The main game isn't really difficult.

My first trip to SDA was awsome. I started with the games I played and thought I was pro at, as do most ppl I assume. I soon came to relize that I just flat out sucked. SDA is legit. I still go there to pass time or to get unstuck from where Im at. I fully suport SDA in every way I can.

This is among the most skillful speed runs i have seen. Megaman X2 left me with my jaw on the floor. Thanks for uploading onto Youtube, we need to get SDA on the map a lil more imho.

lol keep trying, it takes a while to get the hang of it, also play sounds 19, 65, 09, 17 go back to the level select screen hold A press start, in the level select menu play songs 04, 01, 02, 06 pick any level and collect 50 rings, you'll be super sonic
