Live Internet TV and Youtube on the Blackberry Curve

I am getting frustrated! I get to my media page, I click what I want to watch, I click open, then my media player comes up saying loading, then i get a message saying media being played is of an unsupported format! (tversity is installed correctly, along with up to date codecs etc) and tversity shut its support blog down! can anyone help me? btw blackberry curve 8350

you need a web browser and a wireless service provider you might be able to do wi fi on that to go to your connections icon and look for wifi

no it's not retard. It says insert SIM Card - that looks like a TMobile phone. You just need any blackberry with wifi

You go to youtube mobile and click to any vidoe you want to look at and it transfers the video to media player then you watch it.

8300 doesnt have WI-Fi..so its not possoble to access internet unless you have data plan...

I have the BB curve 8310 from AT&T. When I try to play a video, I can see the image and song name. However, when I click on it to play, I get the following error message:

"The protocol specofied is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different URL."

did u ever figure out the youtube problem on your 8310? i can play vids but if i switch the application and i go back to youtube it throws an error code. let me know if u have any info on how to solve or if even possible thanx

I don't believe the 8310 has wifi support. Is that correct? I don't have one I just did a quick google search for 8310 wifi and it says AT&T only has it on the Edge network. Which means streaming content isn't allowed due to bandwidth issues. Trust me I wish I could too, but I've got a freakin BB Pearl 8100 old school lol. Time to upgrade soon!

it's part of the OS (operating system) that he has on his phone. There's an new OS (4.5) which will allow for video record and video playback including internet sites, such as youtube

its not OFF the internet.. its a program.. its a search engine program with an integrated video flash player which allows you to watch youtube...READ ON TOP ITS CALLED TVersity..

theres no way to get it u have it or u dont the only one that i know of that has it is the titanium blackberry 8329 from tmobile the gold one from tmobile might have it aswell i hope that helps!
