Everytime I found a new song like this from Meiko it makes me wonder why so many dislike this Vocaloid. She has a pretty mature voice. From all the female vocaloids I think Meiko is the best. i still like many others, but I really hope that people would appreciate her more. This song is a solid proof that you can make great songs by using her voice. Thank you for bringing this video and translating this song to us. I appreciate it very much. Thank you.

@otaku12fox The girl (kimono) blocked the bullet for her lover (man with dandelion) from her jealous fiance (man with white mustache). That girl reincarnated with the same appearance but her lover did not (Meiko, brown hair girl). The girl married the teacher (candy part) due to his resemblance of her past lover. Meiko reveals her true identity in the wedding. Both lovers still have memories of their previous life. The song "Cradle of Destiny" continues the story, but I don't understand it.

In the past there was a couple who fell in love, however, the father of the girl did not want her to be with the guy. I'm assuming it's because he's way older and her teacher. The father shoots at the man, but the girl jumps in the way. The couple is later reincarnated, however they were both reincarnated as girls. The man (who is now Meiko) realizes it before the girl. I don't think the girl ever realizes it, though she has a feeling.

@inualchemist actually, i think that the person who shot the girl was supposed to be her fiance. it shows her mother and father talking with a man, and then it later shows that man with the gun when the girl gets shot. Also, it shows you that at the end, the girl realizes that Meiko is the man she remembers when Meiko hands her the flowers at her wedding.

She however thinks that the school teacher is her past love (because he looks almost identical to him) and ends up marrying him. The beginning gives you the impression that Meiko's character was the girl, and that is whats confusing you. The twist was that Meiko was actually the man in the past relationship. It's really sad, try rewatching it now that you understand ^-^ it will probably be more enjoyable.

Flashback of the man's face to Meiko's which shared similar expressions (making her cry more), and Meiko extends her hand to the girl, which the girl gives picture of the drawn flowers back to Meiko. Since she knew Meiko is the past lover, and they're now good friends, girl is content (because of her smiling in the end).
