  • U guys sound great, but I don't like this version as much as Clausen.

This is nice and all but I was ready at Many Waters for that dominance to come, and it didn't, but u guys sound great, it's just that I think Clausen's version you guys shoulda done.

  • @Lairdesangfroid Hahaha I can just imagine. It's amazing how much our voices mature over a short period of time. I remember singing this song my senior year of high school. I loved it. You guys did a great job as well!

  • This was fantastic. Basses sounded a little bit like they were stretching for those higher notes. but the women's balance is amazing. I sang this song in high school, and it is a beautiful piece. Great job, singers!

  • @gphillip17 lol i was in that choir - 2 years later those notes r easy nubsauce xD i remember how much of a nightmare those were 2 years ago...

  • Finally, I found a recording of this piece besides my state Honors Choir! René Clausen seems to have the most popular setting, and David Childs has a setting for SATB chorus and horn too. I actually don't like this one, though I remember being in love with it when the SATB kids did it (I was in TTBB that year). Anybody else agree with me that it's super-cheezy?

  • wow, that sounded amazing!!!
