I watched a Bob Marley doc last night and i swear this was the back up band, or at least the guitar player, that was really cool to notice and the concert was around '78-80 so it's possible for it to happen yes?!?
@RasL1on No really, i've watched a lot of Aswad and i'm told or read somewhere that at one time or another steel pulse and aswad either toured, played ,recorded, performed with Bob Marley so when i saw that documentry the band looked and sounded like bob's english period. I was just commenting and wondering so thanks for responding, i still think it's possible for at least some of the band to be backing up Bob though. Blessings!
@ikeick Bob had the Wailers everywhere he went. His guitar players were Al Anderson, Junior Marvine and for one year Donald Kinsey. Steel Pulse, Aswad and them used to hang out with Bob though. Drummie Zeb(Aswad) played on punky reggae party.

Regardless of their commercial success (which has brought on a wider fan base), they still, in my opinion deliver. So big up Drummie ,Tony & Brinsley even though he is persuing his solo career without leaving the Aswad roots behind.
my fave track as well. where is this shot? does anyone know. mate of mine says it's Harlesdon. what a great line up they had in1978. i love the fact it came ouy as a 12" on transparent green vinyl. The B-side is an equally superb song entitled 'Stranger' by guitarist Donald Griffiths. A British roots 12" that is well worth tracking down. It's on Ebay quite a lot.
