  • at 0:53 you can see her crap on the road

  • I never knew that you could take a shit at high speeds.

  • at the 0:41 she is drinking water with no seat belt. At those speeds that child would have no chance if they would have wrecked.

  • At time 0:59 that RV has to be doing at least 40 MPH. That girl's dad is a lunatic and I'm surprised they didn't roll. Maybe daddy said "Take of that God-Awful mask or I'm gonna crash our house!!!"

  • Hey, where can you get one of these cool contraptions?

  • Ah ain't that sweet, early American White Trash, before the motor took a shit and they settle right there in Piney Acres Trailer Park. Remember kids, Friday night is when they stir the ponds at the sewage treatment plant next door so close the windows and doors and hang some extra fly stips in the kitchen. I should know, I used to live there.

  • Those were the good ol' days. I'm surprised they didn't pick up a hitchhiker...

  • This reminds me of the movie RACE WITH THE DEVIL, where two couples drive their motor home at 90 mph to outrun a group of redneck devil-worshipers.

  • LOL!!! Hilarious!!!

  • I thought for sure they were going to nail that car at the 1:00 mark

  • HAHA it's haulin ass at 0:37, cool clip

  • i want to go for a ride. i also luv that steel guitar :)

  • That crazy horse mask she wears at the 44 second mark has haunted me for years. Thank you for posting this and reassuring me that I didn't imagine it!

  • There were two other people in there but she didn't say who those were. Can any of y'all guess?

  • its her brother and sister or was it her cousins all the same there her mother and farther.

  • Show ! Parabéns! Adorei

  • Not even to Terlingua.

  • At exactly 1:00...there is a Ford Maverick.

    Makes the whole clip awesomer.

  • what year was this fimed. maybe 1978.

  • If the Maverick at 1:00 was new than it was filmed about 70-72.

  • I think this is probably a pretty good guess considering the parents' hair, clothes, and glasses, too, plus the style of the RV. Very early 1970s.

  • she is prolly of a do-able age now isnt she?

  • Watch your speed, dude!

  • I couldn't imagine how boring it was to take the long trips they did. What with no DVD's, X-Box, computers, XM, and the like back then.

  • Yeah, nothing but the changing scenery and our rotten old imaginations to keep us entertained on long trips back then. (Sorry, easy dig at you young'uns.)

  • "That there is what you call an RV, Clark. Now don't you go falling in love with it. Its going with me when we leave here next month!" Cousin Eddie

  • I used to envy this. When I was 2, my dad rented a motorhome from his job (American Motors) and we took it to Cape Hatteras, NC, but on the way home, it broke down 50 miles from my home. It was towed to a gas station near my home, where we were then picked up by my dad's friends. I never saw it again, and I never was in one ever again.

  • Uh, if I were you, I'd keep that to myself.

  • Ok cool, the sick as hell message this was in response to was removed.

  • The mask she put on was a little creepy.

  • Is it just me , or does the father in this clip bear a resemblance to Jerry O'Connell?

  • Did anyone happen to catch that cool Maverick near the end of this clip?

  • Back in the mid '80s when I was a young kid, my family actually had a motor home a lot like the one in this clip (Winnebago). We'd take it to motorcycle races (my dad used to race enduros in TX) or up to the mountains of Colorado during the summer. Had a lot of fun with that thing, but it left us stranded by the side of the road more than once. *laughs* Great clip!

  • Yeah, like what I explained. The motorhome my dad leased from his work broke down 50 miles from home, and I remember riding in it while it was being towed, not understanding what happened.

  • Ohmigosh, how could I forget about this one?!! When I watched this skit as a kid, I so wanted to live in a motor-home and was envious at that little girl. How times have changed....

  • Same here. I wanted to do it again after we did when I was 2.

  • Now that I think about it, this sketch might just be what turned me on to country music.

  • Yes, I love that steel guitar—and the country-and-western background in general.

  • Count me among the kids who were desperate to live in a motor home after watching this.

  • A friend of mine owned one of these and one summer we did a road trip. His g/f was on the toilet, he hit a big bump and out she flew. It was the most hysterical thing I ever saw. The trip only got better from there

  • Awesome! I used to love seeing this as a kid. After seeing this, I wanted to live in a motor home! :-)

  • I wonder what year this was because I don't remember it at all. It must have been in the early eighties after I quit watching Sesame Street.

  • Haven't seen this in years - thanks for posting!

  • What a cute little film. I wished *I* lived in a motor home!

And the way the economy's going, I just may get my wish!

  • Why don't you move in with the Op family? Hope you like garlic! ;)

  • With the way the economy is going you won't be able to afford gas for your motor home!

  • This reminds of this one-liner: he who buys a motorhome doesn't get a lot!
