Old School Power Gotta love it! And I own an C55 AMG same engine, more power stock and if I had a choice between these two Id take the M5, Ive driven them frequently and I must say the e39 M5 is the BEST car BMW has ever made, and Ive driven both V10s they pale in comparison to any AMG.BMW will always have great agility, more driver communication and a sportier feel, MBs will always have incredible torque curves, acceleration and ride quality. And as far as MB being for old people Im 25.

@koolvideosonly Power has nothing to do with the enine size. The Benz has 380 BHP. And the M5 has 399 BHP, normally the M5 would win trust me i have driven both of them. What did you tune on the Benz? Performance Package from AMG? or self made tuning?

BMW E39 M5 is Naturally Aspirated 4.9 litre V8 producing 394bhp @ 6600rpm, both cars are stupidly fast either way,the video does no justice, also the Mercedes makes more Torque aswell at 700nm vrs BMWs 500Nm, Mercedes is faster full stop, tuned or not tuned

My enging is a cutom built one. So in this race my E55 was, Headers,Ecu tune and exhaust = Aprox 400-420 N/A HP! :-)

Original, the Mercedes has around 30 horses less than the m5, and the m5 has manual transmission with one gear more.... So to make it fair, in your case, the Mercedes had to be a tuned one, and you can clearly see who's superior. :)

Very nice dude. I built my turbo w210 e320 to hang to with the w210 E55's(it does a little better than hanging around :) ). But I love the V8 sound so I'm in the process of swapping the turbo I6 motor for an S500 motor soon to but turbo'd or twin turbo'd. Nice kill btw.
