This is the absolute cream of British comedy - Blakey should have received an Oscar for this performance, his rapier like lines delivered with panache and authority. Doris Hare a masterful performance - Wilfrid Bramble beyond compare, Wilfrid Bramble poetic and so light on his feet. Heroic performance from the legendary Arthur Mullard too.
