It is indeed true that this song was sung by Sharafat Hussain. A beautifull composition and the first Pakistani long song for approximately 6.50 minutes. This was a gem and stunning super hit song that every human being irrespective of their gender used to hum. (26th Oct. 2010)

Wonderful! I wish I could hear the entire song. Many years ago, when I was a little child they used to show some old movies on PTV, I remember watching this sad movie. I guess Pak film industry was not so much behind India back then.
