AC 1 was and is always gonna be my favorite, Altair is so much better than Ezio in fighting and stealth, but ezio is better at speed and climbing, combine the two and you have the guy from ninja assassin xD

Whenever I counter a spin move, i do some other random move like the one where you spin and slit their throat. I've been trying for hours and can't get the Skull Crusher... He even sometimes does the stepping on his foot, then kneeing him in the face, but he doesn't follow through with a skull stab... is it like an ability you earn later in the game? HALPZ!

suprchckn have you ever randomly punched or kicked them in the face and there is a puase for second? then it goes back to normal combat? in that pause when you do a counter and he punches or kicks him in the face and he stumbles backwards simply press x and he should do the skull crusher

He's not really "crushing" the skull, he's just piercing through it with his knife. You might see him crushing skulls in Assassins Creed 2 though.
