  • Great Advice...!

  • Hi guys and girls I am new at the bow thing I just bought a pse deer hunter compound bow and I need arrows what kind is good for a beginner like me because I don't realy want to spend alot of money and lose the arrow fist shot or damage the arrow?

  • wat kind of string should i use for a bow?

  • @mattandslash my friend started with kite string it works as a prototype but if u pull to hard it will snap

  • @mattandslash Use silly string it comes in a can.

  • thanks

  • how often do i need to change the cables on my compound? I don't know how used they are because they're steel cables covered with plastic. Do i ever need to change them?

  • if the steel cables are not covered in wraping put stuff on it that prevents rust and change them when rust starts building up to the core of the cable other than that steel cables should be very durable longer than regular bow string

  • that's a bow???????? wtf??????

  • its a compond bow...i dont like then

  • i depends on how many pounds you can pull

  • I thinking of doing archery but i don't know which bow i would get it needs to be quite cheap but pretty good quality. Any ideas???????

  • rolan

  • It really depends on how much you want to spend, If you son't want to spend a lot I would suggest a genesis however otherwise I would go into a local specialty dealer (Not a Dicks or a Gander Mountain) and they should be able to set you up with a better bow

  • long bow it is wood check out amazon

  • first thing's first. there is no such thing as a pretty good quality bow that's quite cheap. you must make sure that u're equipment is of the best quality possible.many of the people at the range i shoot at know this and use good quality bows that cost quite a pretty penny but will ensure safety, quality and consistency. then u need to make sure u get proper instruction from a level one archery instructor. make use of the web to see if u can locate them.

  • go on ebay and look under hoyt zr200 and hoyt magnatech

  • As an "expert," you should label this video correctly. That is a Compound bow. It is NOT a Traditional bow. I could care less about Compound bows. There are no "sights" on a Traditional bow. Those of us who use Traditional bows, actually have to have something called, "skill." A compound bow requires little actual skill. Sorry to those who are offended.

    Terrific

  • Because you are just that gooooooooooood

    get a life!

anyone can shoot any kind of bow its just a matter of their skill.

Compounds may be easier to shoot but the scores need to be basically perfect which takes serious skill.

  • you can shoot a bow u sighted and hit a bulls eye and i can do the same with the bow your using... i can sight in a gun and hit 1k yards and u can do the same with the same gun... its not who has the most accurate bow or gun its how well you know the bow or gun... i had a shooting match with my bro with a 22 that shoots the same hole at 50 yards and we both perfect made no sense for a match because we were using the same gun now if we had our own guns that would be a true match

  • that bow is half his size!! its 33 A2A so that means he is like 5 foot 6 asain...thats tall isn't it for them?

  • yup most of us only get around 3 ft.

  • and never touch a damaged carbon arrow body ;) the splints are very mean and cannot be removed by a doctor ! they have to come out of your skin painfully by themselves. and no, at a compound i think you don't take the bowstring off very often maybe once a year. there is a compound squeezing machine for this if you need to change the string or whatever.

  • Oh man I remember the first time I got those...they are the worst kind of splinter. I'll never forget the day I grabbed my split arrow!

  • Get a Trophy Hunter Martin Bow from dicks....

$319 for the bow(Martin Saber i believe)and sights, quiver, general rest, and some other cool stuff dicks hooked me up with. Great bow!

  • so i'm looking into buying a compound bow. i'm new at the sport. any1 know of any cheaper good guality bows?

  • Well if your looking for Good Quality but inexpensive, Try a Parker, Hoyt, or Browning. Their all Very good bow's. A lot of Pro's use them also. Personally I'm stuck on Browning, I have a Browning Striker 2 Set at 70 pds Draw Weight, With a Wisker Biscuit Arrow Rest, and a 3 Pin PSE Fiber Optic Sight, and I use Beman ICS Bowhunter Carbon Arrow's and I love it. It'll cost ya around 600$ for the Bow, but It's worth it.

  • depends how old you are, im almost a teen and i have a good bow for my size and only like a 100$ and if ur a adult, a good beginers bow would go for 250 hope that helped

  • are you suppose to take the bowstring off when not in use. I have a recurve. My crossbow had steel limbs and I think the tension cause the weakness after firing it after a long time.

  • Man that bow looks likes rambo's bow:-)

  • a compound

  • what kind of bow is that?

  • can you use a candle for the string

  • i wouldn't

  • candle???????lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That was a little much.

  • dam thats a cool bow
