Talking about alternative energy, I recently went to a green housing conference hosted by Habitat for Humanity & they discussed passive homes. To make a 2 day conference short: if your home is properly insulated, it will require little to no additional AC or heating--which if needed can be fueled by the energy output of household appliances. Everyone mentions how little energy is generated by a single solar panel, but if you don't require much energy (like passive homes) the problem is solved!
This place looks wonderful. And so quiet! I'm sure you probably edited out any parts where people walked by and you weren't recording, but it seems like there was a lot of time to just be alone, which is awesome.
I'm happy to attend college somewhere that provides recycling bins, with people who are just as Earth-loving as I am. I'm TRYING to get my mom to recycle at home, but I'll have to provide the bins and drive it to the recycle place myself while I'm here. When I go back to school, eh.
What a beautiful place. Wow your part Japanese?.Thats awesome. It fantastic that your aware of the situation with mother earth, I am trying my best to live simple and go back to nature aswell. It really scares me that we're actually facing mass extinctions and our rainforests are being murdered by big corporations. You should do the green living series. Plastic bags are evil!. Amen.
Precisely why my husband and I are buying land and building a homestead. We hope to be as self sufficient as possible and go off the grid. Great video and beautiful gardens!
that is so beautiful and i agree totally. nature is so beautiful and it's terrible to think that all of it could be destroyed because of our habits. my fiance actually wants to go into environmental management and help with the spread of wind power and use of solar panels. it would be great to go back to simpler times when people lived off the land, but technology is taking over and all we can do is do our best to make sure we don't lose touch with the earth and save our natural resources
