  • LaCoquelico, thank you so much for uploading! I´m just loving your vidz!

  • realy he dose tht.....though Rahat is officialy......following nusrat sahab..but...nature has given tht rare stuff to Faiz Ali Faiz....great job he is doing...its all most imposible to copy nusrat...unless u r blessed...

  • Flamenco meets qawwali : an unlikely combination, but it works a treat (or perhaps it´s not that unlikely, since both flamenco and qawwali have sprung from islamic roots).

  • @kariaudar Someone told me music is haram in islam

  • @nasreenlone

Only a certain type of music. The one that leads to emotional corruption. Qawwali my friend..is the music that glorifies Allah swt and His Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). It´s almost like the gospel music of Islam, but only in the Subcontinent.

In the beginning when nobody was muslim in India and the surrounding areas..the qawwals realised that this was a good way of telling ppl about islam´s message. Because ppl on the Subcontinent were so musical, qawwali worked wonders!

  • i wish they hadnt added an echo to the vocals

its closest to nusrat more than rahat fateh ali khan

...well Faiz was a student of Nusrat Fateh Ali khan from what ive heard.

  • He never been a direct student of Nusrat Fateh ALi Khan. But he got a lot of influence from him. Faiz live in Lahore Pakistan. I have heared him twice lively in a shrin called Darbar Hazrat Mian Mir. He is a very good alternative to Nusrat.
