  • Hey man, thank you for taking the time to make the extra instructional piece! This is amazingly useful. You champion!

  • @MrRaven8er I'm psyched you found it helpful and thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Peace :)

  • Nice job here :)

  • @Acceptable76 Thanks very much Spencer!

  • By the way, is that Lakland Skyline or Lakland USA?...Also what kind of string do you use and what are your favorite effects if any?

  • @BassSpotter It's a custom USA Joe Osborn. The strings are DR's (I think I had Fat Beams on for this, but not positive. If not, DR Lo-Riders) I do not use any effects. Thanks for your interest :)

  • Great video man...What settings "Amazing Slow Downer" did you use while slowing it down?...Not sure what SLOW DOWN TYPE setting does...

  • @BassSpotter I believe the "slow down type" affects the quality of the processing. ("I" is the lowest quality, and "IV" is the highest) I usually use "III" because my computer tends to stutter if I put it on "IV". Then I slowed it down 50% using the "stretch" slider.

  • really cool

  • @StoweTexas Thanks Mark!

  • Fluffy, I have learned a lot by watching your right hand. Thanks for the excellent post. Needless to say, this song was born "timeless" (despite mentioning hanson&manson, heh!). Great.

I got the "Slower" app but cannot make it work with Gom Player - don't know where to drop it... At 57, I'm kind of dumb for this stuff but hey, I am alive and plucking my bass! :)

  • @wellardbr Glad you found the video helpful! Not sure what a "Gom" player is, but the Amazing Slow Downer software is designed to run on a PC or Mac based system, not a portable mp3 player. I run it on my Windows 7 PC, and just load the mp3's I want to learn right into the playlist. If you're still having trouble let me know!

  • Ive always loved this bass line

    Its all feel good

  • @SnoozeIRTL An inspired bit of session work, for sure!

  • this vid is really good :D awesome playing !!!

  • @USAtwins1 Thanks very much! Nice to hear some feedback :)

  • Phenomenal job dude. I love this song and did note before how the bass seems to wander (in a good way) throughout the whole song. Love the description of your transcription process. Excellent job - Ron

  • @iamRottenRon Thank you very very much, Ron. I appreciate all your encouragement on my videos.
