hes pretty good. i jus turned 16 n my fastball has ben clocked around 90 mph. but what impresses me most is tht hook hes got. ive got a good one but his is nasty. hes brakes away n mines more ofa 12 to 6 curve. my fav pitch to throw is myslider tho. i love throwin it after 2 fastballs n then have a slider brake into a lefties back foot.

Regarding wood bats, USSA travel ball and perfect game have reduced the use of aluminum in favor of wood. See wood bat tournaments with kids as young as 9 and 10U.
