@MoltenTank the shoulders ARE right. The set refers you to a Lordaeron guard. Someone else said the gloves where wrong and that I can agree on cause I have the set myself.

It's a tough choice if you want to be accurate, since the imperial shoulders have the right colours but the wrong model, while heavy mithril shoulders have the right model but the wrong colours. I found this very maddening until I decided not to go for a SW guard look at all.

u can now download addon named moglt or smth and it helps alot

there is a quest in teldrassil that gives a sword like 1nes that guards have(brushwood blade) and there is a quest in un'goro that gives a shield (maximillian's shield ) look for them on wowhead

The imperial set looks better than the real guard set. I decided recently to try it out with the "Stormwind Tabard" from argent tournament and the 60 epic sword and shield - and please, stormwind guards are humans. I received some admiration from fooling around. Anyway, the fun lies in the wish you once had, to look like a specific NPC.

actually, only the helmet is the correct item, the rest only looks similiar. you can get the exact same sword as the guards from a murloc bounty quest in elwynn. the tabard and shield can be modelchanged so that YOU see them as the right ones, others will still see it like the crest of darkshire

@Mastkeiler Most people may have done the murloc quest at level 10 or whatever... It's also okay to look a bit different... perhaps even better ;) either way not many people pay attention to such small detail

Well I think it sucks there are waaay closer items you can get that look more like a guard and are simple to get and first you can get the real sw gaurd sword from the murlock quest in elwyyn called well used sword also your shoulder pads look like there going to fall apart get imbuned plate shoulderpads and get sw tabard from argent tournement... My phones dieing bye

That murlock quest people may have done at level 5 so most people wont be able to get it. I know there's an easier way, but there's also a right way. I never said it was the "official" only way. Its simple and easy - look for a Blacksmith and you got it. Now you can salvage the AH for a few months and try to find alternatives too. And yes there is a SW tabard now from agent tourny. If you can do better make youre own video and guide and enlighten me =)

The Shield is a World Drop, you have to get lucky or find it cheap on the Auction House. The Whole set cen be made by Blacksmiths that did the quests to learn the Pattern. Just yell is trade "LF BS to make Imperial set!"
