And I met a Rastafarian who explained what kind of god would want to impregnate a virgin. That has to be man who came up with that because man lust for virgins. And if god was so almighty why not just snap your fingers and create a man. Not saying it's all fake but just perhaps we have interpreted it wrong throughout generation. How many kings could have seen the bible as a tool to dictate there people into acting how they wished. sorry for all this I believe man has right to believeAStheyWISH
The sun. Egyptian religion refers to the 3 kings as the stars of uriens belt and on dec 24 every year the 3 stars allighn with the north star pointing toward the sun rise. And there sun god Horace is have man half god born from a virgin. A movie called Zeitgeist goes into much more detail. So many of the bibles stories are similar other older religions.
That does make scenes. I was brought up as a catholic and attended a catholic school but always had questions that would not get answered. Every time I would always get "you have to have faith." But that comment about the big bang does make scenic but how do you explain dinosaurs and all the other creatures before us? And all the religions that are older then Christ but are basically the same story. For instance te story about Jesus' birth the 3 kings followed the north star to were the rise of
@Htbk27 The Bible doesn't say there were "three" kings. Have you ever heard of Ken Ham's Creation Museum? He and other teachers there can answer many of your questions about dinosaurs. Great place to take the kids too.
@mourningwarbler Sure, if I want wrong answers then the FIRST place I'll go is the Creation Museum. But mostly we don't look for wrong answers. We look for the truth no matter where it lies. No matter what it says.
The bible says the Father the Almighty creator of heaven and earth is the creator, Jesus is the son of God, yet still god but God the father is the creator just mentioning that to you.
@valstar1000 1:1-5 & 14 In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was w God, & the Word was God. The same was in the beginning w God. All things were made by him; & w/out him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; & the life was the light of men. & the light shineth in darkness; & the darkness comprehended it not. ... & the Word was made flesh, &and dwelt among us,
Was into it until you started talking about Jesus and god. There are over 10 religions with a savior that was half man half god born on dec. 24 from virgin mother. So don't compare the bees to Jesus. Bees are proven by science. Jesus has never been proven to exist. It's good to have faith but don't preach. Let me know if you make a movie about just bees.
@Htbk27 I was into YOU until you started talking badly about Christ who died. What do you benefit by talking down Christ or God, what kind of satisfaction do you get out of that and why?
@Htbk27 St.Peter one of the apostles of Jesus assembled the church which has been around for hundreds of years. Jesus did not create heaven and earth though god the father did that, Jesus is the son of god. By the way I am guessing your somebody who believes in the big bang well you know who came up with that theory a Belgien priest in the Bible it says god created the universe it does not say whether or not he did it with the big bang that may be the the way he made the universe.
@TheronDragoon Evolution is science fiction and a fairy tale for children and that is why you people won't face an adult in a public debate. All you have are excuses for us and brainwashing for students. Cluck, cluck.
@BereanBeacon1 You call evolution science fiction and a fairy tale. But a guy who walks on water and heals the sick with a touch is hard fact?
I would gladly debate in public but in reality neither side will ever convince the other, my side does not believe in magic and your side does not believe in truth. So it would indeed be a waste of both our efforts.
@TheronDragoon Ahhh, the religion straw man again. Check out The Life Science Prize offer where both sides must adhere to a science format in a mini court situation. Please, no more straw man from The Lame Excuse Handbook as we have heard them all. Don't be concerned about the outcome, just do it and be the hero of evolution because you would the first to try.
@BereanBeacon1 That life science prize looks interesting. I am quite suprised no one has taken up said challenge. Probably because it looks so much like a trap :)
I have always wondered why creationists try to fight evolution head on. How come they dont just say "God created the conditions for the big bang" it automatically takes it out of the realm of science because we cannot gather data from such a time.
@TheronDragoon Many "Christians" do, but it would require calling Jesus Christ a liar. Carl Sagan: "The only truly intellectual dishonest position out there is the position that tries to wed Genesis with big bang cosmology."
The "trap" is, not presenting opinions, as was done in other court settings. Having strict science control of the event strips way non science input. If interest contact Joe Mastropaolo of LSP.
@TheronDragoon You can't have a Queen without drones and visa versa, so which came first they MUST have been created together. I play advocate, I already met Christ ; ; ;
@rdarlington Please don't confuse us with religion, which we are against. We tell others about the FREE GIFT of God by faith in Jesus Christ. Then it's up to them what they do with it. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works [religions], lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8,9
@BereanBeacon1 I have no problem with your beliefs, and in fact genuinely thank you for having a mind of your own. I just find it distracts from the topic. I'm one of those heathen, non-believers, but I am certainly not offended by your beliefs or those of anybody else. It was an attempt at constructive criticism. My interest is in bees, not Jesus!
Thanks for the awesome Bee video!;) ....kinda feel sorry for ppl who don't believe in the One who created them :( ....I wonder what will they do after they die and meet Him..........
awesome video you are so right there was a creator bees are a great example of this but they are a lot of other examples!!!! thanks for the video I need to try and keep my bees from swarming this spring. this is something I will try.
I really appreciate your video. I learned from it and totally agree with your observation about how that bees are one of the many proofs of our creator God.
Are there any experienced bee keepers here who can tell me why most beekeepers can approach their bees to do care activities but rarely ever get stung? I saw one video where the cameraman got mauled, but the keepers were just fine. Do bees know their keepers? Is there some relationship or instinct with bees that tells them not to sting the hand that feeds them?
I guess this guy never heard of solitary bees. The vast majority of bee species are solitary species. Solitary species can decide to create colonies and eventually evolve to do what honey bees do now. In other words, they are reducible.
I believe in creation, Jesus Christ not to sure he existed. Have you seen Zeitgeist here on youtube? If you haven't check it out it's very fascinating. It would be nice to get a religious person's thought on the subject..
Your argument that bees are an example of irreducible complexity is a bit off. Removing an element of the hive entirely would indeed cause it to collapse, but that doesn't mean the hive could not have come to exist via evolution through millions of tiny steps that ended with the hive. IF you want a scientific foothold stick with energy, it can't be created or destroyed only transformed, so from where did it come from? Genesis just doesn't hold up, and neither does irreducible complexity.
Genesis does hold up and the bee example is precisely the illustration of irreducible complexity you are denying. "Millions of tiny steps" means one part is removed even if by transformation to something different. All essential complex parts are necessary. If the transformation is not one of the essential parts the system fails [dies]. What specific system can work without queen, drone, workers, larvae - all together? The impossible is NOT possible with enough time.
You're correct in the sense that, as is, the system will fail if any of the elements are removed. This does not mean the system could not have evolved from a simpler system. The thing most people don't think about with evolution, is that it is not completely random. The mutations might be random, but only the ones that benefit the creature advance to the subsequent generations. You tube comments are an inadequate forum to discuss at length however. If you wish we could continue via e-mail?
Actually, non-beneficial mutations can get passed if its genetic frequency becomes high enough. Even detrimental mutations can be passed on through sexual selection or genetic drift.
@Godlessons True, but in the long term trend such detrimental mutations means the organism become less fit for survival and other organisms take its place. Non-beneficial mutations are also often situational. I forget the lizard, but its defense mechanism is to remain completely motionless under threat. Now that fire ants are moving into its territory, remaining motionless means death. The ones that twitch and run off after being bitten survive. Also think sickle cell anemia.
@Draslin I was pointing it out because the guy in the video seems to be a fundamentalist that has little to no knowledge of evolution. Often people equate evolution solely with natural selection and don't realize that evolution doesn't disallow any mutation completely, it just has preferences.
Jesus made cannibis- marijuana- AKA HEMP - why arnt we taking advantage of a great crop like HEMP AKA MARIJUANA- great vid. by tha way--- could honey bees pollinate pot??
@RicoRicanNYC Wowee, he's like the Chuck Norris of beekeeping!
I've been thinking about this for a while, really inspired by the vid. Perhaps one day I will summon up the courage to get some bees too; although it might take a while to get out of fifteen layers of non-Chuck Norris clothing. Funniest I ever saw was an old guy in the UK (where I am) without kit on, doing this kind of slow-motion waving dance to keep the bees away - looked like he was on the moon or something... :-)
@RicoRicanNYC That's not a big deal. If you are comfortable around honey bees and know how to move and what gets them upset, you rarely need a hood or suit.
that was pretty cool. bees are so awesome. I drink every day cocktail made of spoon of honey, spoon of pollen, lemon juice and water, after about week of doing so, i felt really huge and really noticeable difference in my fettle. Same my grandpa. I wonder if pollen contains some substances causing good mood, or maybe its just cos body got all so beany.
Anyways, i advice everyone to try, it totally improves health. But cos of pollen, it taste a lil bit... insectish..
It is interesting how very small the difference is of brood frames to supper frames, in your area. Nice video :) God bless
