Is this supposed to be a parody of Brown Bunny? I Don't get it. Wipe your feet on some other movie. I enjoy Parodies but riding on a legitimate artist's coattails? come on dude I expected more. You should make a sequel where Vic Salverstein kills himself.
Why such a strong reaction to something you don't get? I suppose all parodies could be considered riding coat tails, but where does that leave the world of satire? The stronger statement a work makes, the more likely it is to be the target of satire. It sounds like you enjoy a parody, so long as it doesn't skewer something you hold dear. 'Legitimate' is in the eyes of the beholder.
so true. I guess i just take out my own feelings of diminished self worth on other peoples follies. You have opened my eyes... "I can see clearly now the rain is gone..."
