@hokila678 It has got to do with the history of the two Chinese ruling parties. Both claim to be China. I believe since Taiwan uses the name 'China Airlines' first, China has no choice but to use 'Air China'.

@hokila678 Well actually, Taiwan have a official name, it's called Republic of China(ROC), and so as China, it's called People's Republic of China(PRC), whether you like it or not, both parties have the right to name their airline after China, and China Airline registered their name nearly 30 years earlier then Air China, so yes, they have the copy right, and there is nothing wrong with the name.

I love the 747's...so beautiful and big. The Intercontinental model will continue the overall looks of the 747-400 except that it will be even bigger. It's going to be the longest airliner at 251 feet.
