No thanks. If I'm investing that much into a system...then I want something where you can trade in old games for new ones. I don't see this thing having much success in the long run.

The avg price for a new PSP game is about $40 bucks without using trade-ins...that really adds up quickly. The Go just seems like a over-priced novelty act really.

I'd just get a 3000. It's a better deal.

digital downloads suck. eventually psn will retire, then all that you paid for is gone for ever. at least with UMDs you can always own it and if you take care of them they will last for years.

Not really, PSN is the source for games on both the PSP and the PS3, and can EASILY evolve with newer technologies, because it's all digital.

Have fun with your UMD's when the newer formats are introduced.

And that's a guarantee.

(VHS, Cassette Tape, CRT, etc... Just to point out a few other technologies that were considered the future at one point in time... Digital can evolve, and it's always the same thing. Digital. As long as you have memory, you can have digital.)

I don't understand, I got one of these a few days ago and I love it. I always hated the shape and size of the PSP 1000-3000 and I don't want to fuck with physical games anymore.. The DS taught me that. It's just a really great handheld console and all the games look great on it as well, downloading games takes a few minutes.. It's just incredibly simple and easy to use.

Yes. You can buy plastation network cards at any store. Most likely target or walmart. The only amounts I have seen them in is 25$ and 50$. That is the only way I get stuff from the store on my psp go and it is much more simple than a credit or debit card.

I don't understand why so many people hate the go. I bought it and I love it. However I never have owned an original PSP. So I never expierenced the pain of giving up a ton of UMDS. I've played around with the PSP 3000 and I still perfer the GO. I still think it's nice that Sony supports both so you can choose whichever one you want and not get left behind.

I got the Fatboy then got the Slim when it came out, I loved Socom FTB2 and Space Invaders Extreme, I dont like the Go and fact they abandoned the UMB and MS Pro Duo card, I'm not going to get the Go. When I had the Fatboy and switched to Slim it wouldn'e let me transfer over my saved game data, so it was a waste and had to start over, I'm not going to start over for a third time.
