In my opinion, this is THE BEST Touched by an Angel, a series that was full of excellent episodes. I have it on video (wish it was available on DVD) and I NEVER see this clip nor watch the video without tearing up, especially when Petey learns he's being accompanied by Andrew on his trip to Heaven. Rest in Peace John Dye and to the little girl this clip reminded me so much of- gorgeous Ellie Potvin, who passed away June 23rd 2010 from relapsed rhabdomyosarcoma, at the age of eight. very touching episode. the song was actually written by pop group Avalon. great song, and an excellent series (though i never saw the series from the beginning). I wish CBS would air more shows like this one, "Zorro," "Lois And Clark," etc because these are educational and entertaining shows. The new "Hawaii Five-0" is pretty good.

This is the most touching episode of Touched By an Angel ever aired. My cousin died from cystic Fibrosis, just like Petey in this episode. This always brings back memories and always makes me cry, especially because my cousin looked like Petey, too. It's too bad there aren't more shows like this now.  And God Bless John Dye

I thought that Wynonna had written it, and that Avalon (the Christian music group), recorded it later. When searching for it, though, I came across this information in more than one place: "Testify" was originally written in Holland by Paul Field, Henk Pool, and Dutch artist Ralph Van Manen for Van Manen's custom-made album. Only fair to give appropriate credit. I like Wynonna's strong voice and sincerity, plus the choir accompanying her in this scene.

I will always testify to love, but oh my goodness this has touched me incredibly, both my Mom(56) and Dad(51) died very recentely, as well as an aunt, two life long pets, a friend and all three grandparents within 3 years , and I know that they Had Angels with them. I only hope that they had these type of Angels.

This was such a moving episode. I remember watching it with a friend and we both cried...you just couldn't help it. Yet it gave dignity to death and renewed my belief that one day, we'll be reunited with those we loved who have transitioned to the other side. Touched By An Angel is the greatest, most inspiring show I've ever had the joy of watching. The cast of the show had wonderful chemistry and I cried again during it's final episode. A class act from beginning to end!

This has become my thinking song. It's a song I use to reflect on whenever I'm in a bad mood, or something has happened that's made me a little bit distraught.

I remember back when we had this young kid that committed suicide, and I remember playing this song so much during that time.
