  • I am not Portuguese. I have lived in 5 countries, speak 3 languages and have always lived in multicultural cities. There is NOTHING like Portugal. It's magic, it's passionate, it's genuine. Amo-te, Portugal. jinhos a todos! :)

    saudades de lisboa!

  • the fuzzy transistions ruin your aesthetic presentation, they're disgusting.

  • Portugal is beautiful yes to people who are on vacations, but unfortunately portugal in general is right now a bad country to live unless you are rich, bad economy, bad education system, is a country forgotten in time they stopped to developed a long time ago, i really hope portugal wake up and become atleast a good country because we(and yes im portuguese) deserve it, portugal have everything to become a good country except good politicians

  • @cryptzlol You are portuguese and i am chinese LOL LOL

I live in Lisbon and guest what?I love Lisbon and is the most beautifall city in the world!!!No i did not visit all citys in the wold but i visit many citys and the most famous ones!!!!

And the descrition you make of Lisbon is not from the Lisbon city from Portugal, maybe another city another continente, maybe Brazil;)!!!So if you dont like dont eat...simple go away!!!

  • @ML678v Relax i like portugal i think i can have my opinion or just because im portuguese i should love everything i was just pointing some stuff i dont like and its not invented, everybody know that portugal is on bad shape, but dont wanna say why? because its cooler to say thats its awesome to foreigners read.

I'm not saying that is the worse country i ever seen ofc i said it before portugal is beautiful, but for a country on the western part of europe we should be a lot better thats for sure

Critico sim o facto de dizeres que "is a country forgotten in time they stopped to developed a long time ago" uma mentira de todo tamanho mesmo vindo de alguem que nada sabe de portugal!E critico sim quando dizes "right now a bad country to live unless you are rich, bad economy, bad education system" CONT...

  • @cryptzlol No country is good without money. But in Portugal, beauty surrounds you...in the people, the architecture, the history and its music. Living in Portugal is being rich, even if you don't have a single centimo no banco lol :) viva Portugal!

  • by far the most beautiful city that I've seen.....i just couldn't get enough and i will be back

  • Thank you jonaspv .. I already booked my trip to Lisbon.. Nov 1 to Nov 9.. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to see and what not to see? I was thinking about getting the Lisboa card for transportation and to visit Sintra and Cascais.. I also love going to Open air markets (Mercados)(flea markets ) to shop at...Can someone suggest any that I should go to ? I heard of the one on Tuesdays and Saturdays in the old town.. But,Is there any other markets?

    Thanks Joyce

  • Does anyone who Lives in Lisbon know if all the stores close on all souls and All Saints day like they do in Italy...Was planning my Lisbon visit nov 1 to Nov 9

  • They do close. But you can still come, I love it here!

  • PORTUGAL!

  • so why is dis country associated with the eu lisbon treaty? a pat on the back for any1 who can answer me :)

  • It's where the treaty was presented, I believe?

  • I live in London and I grow up in Lisbon. I recommend Lisbon to any of my friends out here! Ive met people that went to Lisbon and I know that they loved that city and that life! Lisbon is a great city indeed!

  • You're not funny at all.

  • That was the most stupid and selfish commentary about the Beautiful Lisbon.

Commentaries like this shouldnt be alloud at all.

  • thefunnyguy2

Because you're an ignorant American person who has not been traveling much you probably don't even have a passport.

The beauty of a totally different culture/places is beyond your imagination.

  • I live in lisbon, in one part of the city called nations park, and here the buildings its a new skycrappers, but ofcourse that the old part of the city doesnt have skycrappers... I would like to visit new york, but you have to understand the spirit of this ancient city...I love to live in a city that was already here before Jesus Crist was born, an amount of time very difficult for a american to understand, I dont blame you :)

  • Portugal is a Beautiful country,i went there a few months ago and i loved it

  • i'm from bogota! why?!

  • in my opinion...the MOST beautiful city in the world!!!

  • just out of curiosity, where are you from?

  • @jonhwacom

    absolutely true. amazing city!

  • Comment removed

  • wow you have pigeons there too. i wonder if they speak the same language as the ones in the UK

  • well, u can find a lot of those in algarve... they like it better than lisbon.. :)

  • Let me correct, Wyoming has 11 billion gdp, not million.

Still makes the portuguese $229.881 billion be above US average.

And one thing, I'm not saying portugal is better, I'm just correcting someone who was saying a lie.

Either country is good in it's way.

  • So Tennessee44444, you think that Lisbon is an ugly city...

You're so stupid and ridiculous. Shame on you!

If you're american, poor of you, USA doesn't know what a beautiful, historical and colourful city is!

  • Tens toda a razão.

  • no, only a 17 year old eurolander could understand beauty. LOL.

  • what a beautiful and old rustic city. one day i hope to visit.

  • NO! its a very beautifull city ! And we dont adopt american ! It has history ! All of the city ! And you need to respect that !

  • Lisbon has more history than all of america put together

  • i suppose it has more than israel too? israel is, after all, only "60 years old". right?

the notion that one land has more history than another is elitist and ignorant. typical euro talk.

  • As an American who just visited in October of 2007, I would personally LOVE it if as few visit as possible. Of course I would recommend Portugal to all of my thoughtful and open minded friends, but I'd hate to see American culture over run it in any way. Just one example - I can't TELL you how nice it was to not see a single Starbucks or anyone walking around with coffee in a paper cup.

    Viva Lisbon!!

  • Thank You So Much

  • millenar city, full of tradition and collour with beautifull monoments. i guess that you're are just a dumb ass who thinks skyscrapers are cool. by the way, don't forget that americans adopted the classic-europeon and greek architecture so, watch your tongue.

  • No historical attractions? where the hell were you? LOL, i can ashore you that you'll find more historical attractions just in Lisbon than in Most of the USA. GDP? So what? Have you ever been in Lisbon? Get a life.

  • no historical attractions????!!! where do you think Lisbon is, the moon? You guys in America have, like, 300 years and that's it! Pathetic! what do you call a historical attraction, the white house? or the twin towers (yeah, I forgot... they were blown up!) besides, who cares about the GDP?

  • well, I am sorry to tell you, but I've been to the USA, and any portuguese lives better then the average american.

I will not even comment on the fact you said there are no historical attractions.

AS FOR THE GDP!! WHAT A LIE!! Check any sources you like:

    Wyoming GDP: $11 Million

    Portugal GDP: $229.881 billion

DO NOT SPREAD LIES, go check it yourself before making useless claims. That's a GDP higher then the US average.

  • rednecks have a lot of history!

  • if you are judging a country by GDP/Population then you would conclude countries like norway, switzerland, luxembourg, japan etc as most desireable to live in. i cant remember which is number one. but portugal has the lowest suicide rate in europe and has better weather than northern european countries. i haven't been there but i can admire it.

PS Norway and Japan if they are high in GDP then i should point they are also among the highest suicide rates in the world

  • let me guess where you are from. If I were you I would hide my face in shame. best thing you could do is apologise and show you majored in fuc*ked up

  • Que Saudades !!! Abraco do Canada !

  • Beautiful music! LOVE IT!

  • WOW

    BRAVO!

    AMEI!

  • Very beautiful video!

  • Os putos, os putos... he he he

  • I just got back from Lisbon yesterday and I miss it already. Your video just made it worse by reminding me of what I left behind. A wonderful town I will never forget and I will try to go back to as soon as possible. Thanks for the effort.
