I HAD LABYRINTHITIS FOR MONTHS IT WAS TERRIBLE! New fan of your videos just subscribed. Nice Uke stuff, I'm a musician myself, there is proof in my channel! Have a good day and enjoy your coffee.
I always liked coffee but always with lots of sugar. I'm a sugar fiend. Now I'm a bit obsessed with chai tea only the stuff I bough tastes meh and it's making me angry D': I want it to taste like the stuff in shops.
I always wanted to drink coffee when I was younger. I had tasted it once or twice and it smelled incredible, but I was not allowed to until a few years ago. Now I like it so much I can drink it black. But I've been told that's weird.
Got to say this video actually made me laugh just because its so true today, you always see people running around with coffee cups in such a rush me included and just like you it really only became a frequent occurance once I started college to help me get through the day lol... hope your infection goes away soon and thumbs up for playing portal with it I can only imagine lmao
Before I drank coffee I drank tea. Then I started needing caffeine so I made the switch. Waking up at 6 AM does that to you. If you think about it coffee is really a kind of tea... in a way. Maybe...
Yeah, and smoking used to be the cool thing to do that everyone was doing to be grown-up (in my grandparents time) and look where that got us! Lol, I'm 35 and have finally begun occasionally drinking coffee (decaf though because otherwise I shake and talk really really really fast!).
I still don't understand why i couldn't upload my video as a response! I guess i will get used to use YouTube :) Anyway, a good analyze about coffee :P
my friend was diagnosed with labyrinthitus a couple of months into uni. to be fair it's not a lot of fun. she has an aunty who was bed ridden for three years with it. seriously. so i think we can excuse you. although it looks like it's not crazy serious at the moment. good. can't have you being horrendously ill
I've always loved coffee.. although when I got older I found out hot coffee makes me extremely sick to my stomach, so I drink iced coffee. And I put a heck of a lot more milk than coffee in my cup. And three splenda or sugar packs. I'm also a tea person, but I've never tried hot tea. I hate soda. If it isn't Jones soda or that soda you can get from those pretentious organic stores that are made in France I won't drink it. Lol ---> spoiled <---
holy crap! I was literally JUST talking to my friend about how I want to start drinking wine more so I can look classy. I just hate the taste so much. I keep drinking different kinds but they all suck. I'm just hoping I drink it often enough so that it grows on me.
heh heh... i started drinking coffee when i was 4. no joke. my parents are weird people and said yes every morning when their 4 year old asked to have a mug of their strong coffee with half and half. that might explain a few things about me...
@TheBForce haha, yeah, something like that. and there's really no way i could possibly NOT be coffee dependent now in college. the definition of inevitable.
@10thAveNluvr Well at least you can go out on coffee-dates. Me im a freak; I get asked out to one and its always so awkward to get like a cookie or tea and they are sipping their coffee being all like wtf is wrong with you... yeah life is rough for a non-coffee fiend.
I am not that old but I've loved coffee probably since I was nine, although now (at age 12) I like it a little more bitter than I used to. And yay! Seattle! I love Seattle, my aunt, uncle, cousin, and now one of my sisters live there. It's beautiful. And coffee-filled. Are you going to Tour de Nerdfighting? Also, I love your little Looking for Alaska reference. "How will I get out of this labyrinth?" "Straight and fast."

I can't seem to get going with out a cup of coffee in the morning, Though perhaps staying up late on tumblr is the real cause. Have fun in Seattle, it's pretty awesome here and the weather should be pretty decent.
I approve of all of the thumbs up comments on this video!!! I like tea and drink it like a freakin british person and I LOVE IT WHEN THE COFFEE IS DONE!!!! .... but only because of WheezyWaiter.
Coffee of any kind smells magical. To make it taste decent, for my money, you have to add sugar and milk and caramel syrup. Starbucks caramel macchiato all the way :)
I still can't stand the taste of coffee, but I keep trying it because I totally need the energy. It's so hard staying awake through early classes. And now I am on medication that makes me tired all the time.
For now tea is helping. But I will need to make the switch eventually...
I asked my history teacher if she liked coffee, she said no, i then asked why she drank it and she said it was an alternate to the crappy tea the college serves. Weird.
I know it's difficult to understand, BUT... Some of us actually like the taste of coffee!! (I know, crazy we are!)
Not bad coffee though - some people really know how to screw up coffee - but if you make it right... there is nothing like a warm cup of black coffee.
Also, you should probably wait until it has cooled down a bit more. So you don't burn yourself...
I don't really like coffee or tea.... But I totally get the classy thing. This one time it was winter I and I was walking outside with a cup of Starbucks hot chocolate and reading a book and I felt so classy.
do you not add creamer or milk or anything? thats what i do, unless im in the presence of my painting teacher then i man up and drink it black (sugar of course!) he likes to make it really strong tho! and mmm yes cinnamon!
I know what you mean, I used to HATE coffee and love tea, but at 15 I started working at 7am as a cashier/quasi-waiter, so coffee was free and since I was up so early I gave it a try and slowly got accustomed to it. Also, at this time in teenagehood, no matter what time I go to sleep, be it 10pm or 1am, if I wake up before 7:30ish I feel as tired, so coffee more frequently became a necessity. But, I did realize at work how coffee can be quite addictive! So, I always avoid it when possible!
I started drinking coffee when I was a kid. But I fixed the taste problem by adding a bunch of french vanilla creamer in it. So long as it has enough cream and sweetener in it, I like the taste a lot. Also, WOOO Seattle! (I live in Tacoma, but close enough)
I learned during finals that if I drink more than 3 cups of coffee in one night, I get sick in the morning. My friends all swear by 5hour energy, though.
The thing about wine is you really have to have it with the right food. By itself, it sucks, but when you use it to complement the food and bring out the underlying flavors it's brilliant.
I don't drink coffee or tea, which can be difficult or awkward when all your friends are, but i just don't like the taste and i don't really want to rely on coffee to wake me up in the morning.
This year I, too, have become a coffee drinker. It definitely makes me feel older and more important, but mostly I love it because it's somehow comforting, despite its bitterness.
Coffee is good. I like the taste. Wine is good. I like the taste. They're both acquired though. I drink my coffee black, which took some getting used to, but eventually you forget the bitterness and notice the mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
That's a very technical and esoteric coffee-drinking term, of course. I hope you understood it.
Coffee's pretty amazing. I dunno how amazing American coffee is - from my flatmate that was over there recently, it's pretty nasty, but we have an awesome coffee culture in New Zealand (Wellington in particular), and it's fantastic. Espresso coffee's an entirely different beast to filter coffee - smoother, richer, more flavorsome, I guess.
*Shrugs* What I'm saying, come to Wellington, drink lots of coffee, fall in love with it for all the right reasons :P
I worked at a coffee place a couple summers ago and every few days I would think that I liked coffee again and would try things and then realize that I still did not like coffee.
I actually drank coffee when i was like 3 years old. My mom would put a bit of coffee in a sippy cup and then fill it with 3/4ths milk. I've loved coffee ever since and now that my coffee to milk ratio had changed, them memories of sitting with my mom in the morning drinking our coffee won't. n_n
I'm in my first year of Uni, and I'm probably the only student who doesn't drink coffee. I've never even tried it because it smells horrible to me, so I can't get it close enough to my mouth to drink :P
Also I don't like the idea of needing a substance to stay awake. But I do know what you mean about the looking adult and important thing, because sometimes I buy hot chocolate and have that in the paper container thing, feeling grown up. No one knows the difference ;)
As a kid I always thought coffee was disgusting until I came home on day when I was 12 and it smelled... Good, and I just knew that I wanted to drink it. I only started drinking it with caffeine 8 months ago when I realized that my grades were slipping due to lack of sleep... Oops.
I actually really love coffee. I probably drink to much of it, and now not only do I love it, but I can find it harder to go through the day without drinking some. I mean..I'm healthy too, I promise! Hope you feel better, anyways! Enjoy Seattle. I've never been, would love to see the city.
I started drinking coffee at the age of five with breakfast. It's kind of just a Mexican thing, morning coffee could be compared to a morning cup of tea or hot chocolate. I cannot function without a cup of Peete's a day.
labyrinthitus sounds like labyrinth and your playing portal which is a game where you use portals to get through the maze that is apature labs, connections there everywhere
See the way you made coffee there was kinda weird...I use granules and mix it in with the milk (in the cup) first. That makes the coffee kind of smooth and creamier. Then put the hot water in and you have smooth, non bitter, coffee :D
watching this made me wanna have a cup of coffee. If only it weren't 1 a.m. .... btw I genuinely love the taste of coffee and wine (not an alcoholic) :D
I drink coffee because I like the taste. I'm baffled by the fact that anyone drinks coffee just for the caffiene. There's tea, energy drinks, 5 hour energy, for gods sake, thinkgeek sells caffinated chocolate chip cookies! And not to mention Mountain Dew. It can't be that hard to find something that taste good AND keeps you awake.
@imkindofawesome19 I started drinking it when I was eight because for some strange reason I loved the taste. Surprisingly I ended up at 5'8''. Not bad for a chick who consciously stunted her own growth.
I'm 16 and I like coffee. I prefer iced coffee though (you should try it out, it doesn't burn your tongue.) Also you hair looks so especially beautiful in this video!
lol coffee dependencies. Quit now before it takes over your body and you spend the rest of your life shaking profusely. Also I was going to say "straight and fast" but you addressed that immediately :P
I remember being three years old and I always annoyed the crap out of my mom to get coffee. I really have no idea why. Now I'm more of a "I'll just have some coffee with my sugar" type of person.
I love coffee! The way good coffee tastes (Starbucks doesn't count) and smells and is warm during the winter. I have become all too dependent on it the past few weeks.
My parents actually traumatized me with coffee when I was a child and to this day I positively can not stand the taste of the stuff. I can't decide if that was a good or a bad thing. On the one hand it feels like I'm missing out on this wide world of coffee drinking. Like I'm the only person who is not a part of the Coffee Drinkers Club. But on the other hand I made it to my twenties and I've never paid for a cup of coffee.
I tried by replace my coffee habit with tea last year, but the tea didn't have enough of a kick to keep me conscious. It only took one all-nighter to make me fall off the wagon. Unfortunately, being sleep-deprived and highly caffeinated tends to make me extra klutzy. And coffee is markedly LESS classy when it's worn on one's shirt...
My mom started me on coffee by putting it in my bottle. Watered down. Not much, but enough to get me addicted.

Totally weird fact about coffee that almost nobody knows in the west:
drinking coffee in the morning makes you get up a bit later the next day.
drinking coffee right before you go to bed makes you get up earlier the next day (and doesn't make it significantly harder to go to sleep)
In Japan they drink it as a nightime drink for that reason.

As a kid I always thought coffee was disgusting until I came home on day when I was 12 and it smelled... Good, and I just knew that I wanted to drink it. I only started drinking it with caffeine 8 months ago when I realized that my grades were slipping due to lack of sleep... Oops.

No one in my family drinks coffee. Too bitter. We prefer just drinking milk or half and half.

I actually really love coffee. I probably drink to much of it, and now not only do I love it, but I can find it harder to go through the day without drinking some. I mean..I'm healthy too, I promise! Hope you feel better, anyways! Enjoy Seattle. I've never been, would love to see the city.

I got through college without ever starting on coffee. My brothers both started in grad school, though, so maybe that's why.

I shouldn't joke about serious things, but the amount of Looking For Alaska references I could have made using labyrinthitis...

I actually liked coffee when I was little, but I didn't drink it in copious amounts because it made me feel sort of jumpy.
I now realize that was the caffeine.

I started drinking coffee at the age of five with breakfast. It's kind of just a Mexican thing, morning coffee could be compared to a morning cup of tea or hot chocolate. I cannot function without a cup of Peete's a day.

I don't drink coffee. I've found drinking a lot of water wakes me up. Having to go pee all the time beats the bitter taste of coffee anyday!

I actually like the taste of coffee, I don't drink it because I think I look 'cool'. I never have sugar in it either.

I have always loved coffee, even as a kid. It was only a few years ago that I realized that people thought coffee tasted gross.

I love the taste of coffee! Plus, there are so many different flavors out there and it's exciting trying new ones.

It can't be that hard to find something that taste good AND keeps you awake.

flag of argnetina?
yeah, coffee is just a delivery system for caffeine, everything else is masked with a ton of sugar and cream (and maybe chocolate)

My eight year old cousins have been drinking coffee since they were like three. I doubt they're going to grow much taller.
imkindofawesome19 1 month ago
@imkindofawesome19 I started drinking it when I was eight because for some strange reason I loved the taste. Surprisingly I ended up at 5'8''. Not bad for a chick who consciously stunted her own growth.

lol coffee dependencies.

Also, I love it when the coffee's done.
