  • Would a clove of garlic added, keep in the olive oil for very long?

  • Garlic in oil (stored at room temp.) can produce harmful toxins (although people do it). It should be stored in the refrigerator and only for a day or two. I chop up garlic, add to olive oil and heat to infuse the flavour(not always, but most of the time), then use in salads shortly after it has cooled... cheers!

  • Add a little bit of vinager and it will keep for years.

  • I just make this. I guess I should let it sit for a couple days right??

  • It begins to work instantly but yes, the longer it sits the more the flavour. With this batch here, just grease the pan with it and cook up those meat/ veggies! Thank you as always, have a great day 'chpen'! KtC
