@rodododo100 Alright, I understand you feel very passionate about the blue gravel, if it's not your favorite color or any other reason I'm sorry to hear that. Thanks for the feedback, appreciate the comments once again; Have fun with your tank.
exscue me? pacus can and will get over 60lbs, and hes lucky the pacu hasnt even broke the tank yet... they WILL get massive, hell they shouldnt even be sold in the hobby.... get your fact straight
@convictbreeder Are you still commenting on this video? Go outside, have some fun. I still have the same Pacu in the same tank and he's living swell. Look at the date on the video. Thanks for the facts and thanks for commenting though.
tank already overstocked.... pacus should NOT even be sold in the hobby, they can and WILL get up to 3.5 foot, about 60lbs. the oscars will need ATLEAST a 75 per oscar.. 55 being way to small for all fish you have in the long run.....
@KingNeptune151 dude fuck all these haters bro they ratley get up to that size in the wild lol just keep doing what ur doing looks great and u can always sell them if they get to big these people act like its the end of the dam world lol
@convictbreeder ur the one dislike bro stfu u honestly have no idea wtf ur talking about stop hating if the get that size u can always size up and pacus rarley get that size bro bet ur ass he has a nicer tank then u lol
ok the 30 gallon is also way overstocked... the jack demspsey ( male ) needs atleaast a minumum for itself... and central/south americans dont mix with africans ( what you seem to have are malawis ) and the red jewel ( which is an african riverine specie ) dont mix with either to...... research your fish and atleast get rid of the pacu plz!
@convictbreeder If the fish aren't killing each other for a week he's fine, I've broken all the rules for cichlids and rtbs / rainbow sharks for the past year and you're going to try to tell people what to do? If it works, it works...if it doesn't, oh well try again.
@DPalms309 no offence i have kept fish loger then you have most likly...... pacus NEEEEED a pond... they can get up to 4 foot 60 lbs.... and WILL bust your tank if they feel like it, they have the power to force a tank seal apart.... think BEFORE you buy fish........ i am into cichlids.. so i also know quite a bit about them, also a member on quite a few sites, so yeah if you think its ok to keep pacus in a 55, i know a heck of alot more then you do..... do the fish a favor and GET RID OF THEM!!
@moormandrm He grew to the size in the video in less than one year. About 3-5 months. They grow extremely fast . If you don't want future problems, I suggest you don't get one unless you have a tank of at least 200 gallons or more already. Mine is a in a 55 gallon tank and he slams himself against the surface because of the lack of space. I'm giving him away or selling him soon.
@lfclikewalfc Hey bud, I oscar would be okay in a 47 gallon but a 55 gallon would be much better. However 2 oscars in a 47 gallon is okay when they're young but as tthey grow larger you should consider a 55 gallon tank.
Hey people who want pacus, they ARE tankbusters adn will grow until they reacher around 3 feet in length. Sucks I know, but just plan on upgrading them in the long term.
@OmgLowBattery @OmgLowBattery I'm not too sure. However, I've had mine for about a year or two in this 55 gallon. You'll need to do more research if you're planning to get a Pacu for a 55 gallon tank. Read JamesBeason8 's comment on this video below. Good Luck.
Great tank, I can't believe that pacu lets u pet him...pretty cool. that high fin looks good i have one too, about 9 inches now, the thing is huge! i'll try to get a video up, check it out! 5*
@MrMMABoy You do know that pacu dont stop growing due to the size of there inviroment. They can get up to 70lbs And will get 24" and 10lb with in tree years and can live up to 20 years how can that be delt with. They are very commen to be put in a 55gal and then around 20" they cant turn around verry well due to being longer than the tanks depth freaked out and break the tank. Look at mine. I got him wen he was young now he is over 20" and 5lbs. he could easly break the tank and almost has
at 0:02-0:010 he goes give meh a kiss
