it's such a shame you had to stop and you both did such a great job aswell. Its quite sad that you can't carry on with the 'youtube policy', to be honist youtube is really pathetic; I thought they cared out thier users not suspending them and letting other people steal thier video.

While we agree that this seems seriously unfair, we highly discourage you from making further comments to thieves. You could be in violation of the TOS at that point, because according to this new policy, they have permission.

kinda to late got a new channel only for hunting them down youtube however was not very helpfull i filled ou this whole application handing them the links who stole what from who only to get a thank you back saying i did not fill it in completely but here it comes i did fill out the whole damn thing!

That is just sad customer service, though I will admit a glitch like that doesn't surprise me. I can't even change the background right now on my regular channel. Takes me right back to main page. *sigh*

It was very nice of you to try that, but even with a new account, they can track you by IP if they really wanted to. We have honestly seen people get suspended over less.

I'm really sad and at the same time outraged that you have to close your channel down because of YouTubes new policy. YouTube used to be a great place for sharing your videos and passions but lately it's getting more and more annoying.

That new term is so fucked up. I'm considering taking down all my direct uploads or at least I won't reupload if my account gets suspended at some point. I'll just have my vids here the screencap-and-link-to-my-own-w­ebsite way so I won't be licensing anyone to use my hard work... the fucking term doesn't even say peopl have to credit! Gosh, YT is really getting fast into the WORST video sharing site.

Wow. Thank you so much for that, but we truly feel you guys deserve the credit. The amount of videos the group took down is phenomenal and nobody can take that credit away from all of you, despite their attempts. So, we thank you!

But wait, isn't it different when someone is claiming the work of another as their own? I mean if not, then, YT is practically allowing theives...to be theives.

I think YT should be contacted in regards to this term. I mean, it's alright is someone redistributes your work, everyone shares YT vids around everywhere anyways and as long as proper credit is retained, but they simply cannot be allowed to just take it for their own.

Yeah, we had to read it several times to even process it ourselves.

Our interpretation is a free pass and as much as we are dissatisfied with it, YouTube is in charge.

We had considered contacting them, but taking all factors into consideration, we felt it might be more harmful. We have seen enough honest people get suspended. We think YouTube is just taking a different direction starting with the WMG hit and layout changes. It's definitely not in our favor.
