  • can anyone tell me the diffrence between a $50 motherboard and a $100 motherboard plz

  • hey man can you help me i am going to build a computer i have built one befor so i know how to but im not all updated on all the new parts so i can spend up too 1000$MAX but 900$ is way better or even less ; ) i want it for gaming and normal computer stuff (not realy planing to overclock rather have it already fast lol )... so can you help me pick some parts please ?

  • go to "more" tha go to free shipping on new egg there are also great deal there, shipping and handling can be an ass, also note for a dvd/cd burners, when you get a 24x or 16x and when you burning music to listen on your car i recommend you to burn on the slowest speed because sometimes it skips when listing to, for motherboard, try to get a motherboard the can be latter updated, maybe you have enough money to get a better video card or add more memory =]

  • newegg dot CA also works so you can see what it costs if your canadain :)

  • you sounded like the jewish guy on family guy

  • newegg.com is only USA isnt it? because i live in Australia

  • If yur gonna build a gaming PC, you need these parts:

    Video Card

    PCI

    CPU

    Motherboard

    Sound Card

    RAM

    HDD

    Heatsink

    Power supply

  • @EminemBeastFan24 Oh, I figured as much, by now. It was more for others who read it... it was a good question. I think Dell is a good way to go if reliability is the most important thing - and you plan on using their tech support. You don't get as much bang for your buck with name brands like Dell, HP, Gateway, etc. You also won't learn much about PC's that way, but most people don't care to know. :-)

  • @MrSatoV my pc never broke :) and always virus free :) i had

    1 gateway desktop

    2 compaq desktop/laptap

    2 dell desktop

    and there all good :)

im using 1 desktop desktop which is an upgrade from the rest of my other computer :D

  • @EminemBeastFan24 Exactly my point. They all use under-tuned parts so they last longer and run more error free. It's like a Toyota. Personally though, I don't mind working on my PC or rebooting infrequently to get more performance. I drive an a fast German car - it is an example of my trade-off. I'm more passionate about performance than my desire for reliability.

  • hey how did u record like that

  • well now they have windows 7!!! i'd get pro.

  • @ about 2:30 into the video, when he said buy a cheap case, "cases are really useless". Yea thats when i stoped watching thanks for saving 10min of my live! By starting out with an ingnorant comment.

  • Why are cases so important? Just cooling?

  • @squid262 Cases can have issues like grounding problems, cooling problems, sharp edges that will cut you, and even warping and noise problems.

  • @squid262 If you have a high performance computer, but a shitty case, then your hardware could overheat, its not as much as the case, but like fans and cooling and stuff, its up to you to make it look cool and such, its not overly difficult to create your own case as well.

  • wat if u buy parts tigerdirect. is it good site to??? BTW is barebone good parts??? because im thinking of buying a barebone and some extra stuff or an upgrade

  • yeah i have been thinking about doing the same thing and i also would like to know if you have to buy the operating system separate

  • tigerdirect is also good.

  • @EminemBeastFan24 barebones typically are not the most recent hardware, and I avoid them. of course, if I pick my parts and find a barebones rig having the same, sure, it saves money (but that never happens). I think most of the time they are trying to match good parts to inferior parts in order to get rid of them.

  • The case you buy should be a balance between exterior aesthetics, ease of use (you are likely going to be adding and removing hardware over the years), air flow, size that matches motherboard, video card(s), hard drives, etc., and finally price.

I use newegg[dot]com and 3btech[dot]net, as well as Google Shopping.

  • @MrSatoV i already bought a computer but thx for commenting xD its a dell 545 desktop with

    SPECS:

    OS:Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

CD ROMS:CD RW+ DVD RW Combo Drive

    hard drive:640 Hard Drive

    Processor:Intel pentium E5400 Dual core@2.70GHz

RAM: 6 gigs DDR2 expandable to 8gigs ram

    GRAPHICS:Nvidia Geforce Galaxy 8400 GS 512MB DDR2

    old graphics:Intel GMA 3100

with a new monitor Samsung SyncMaster 2033. 20 in"

  • You guys are so uncivilized, arguing about things because fastman698's a turd.

  • @WildSharkProductions thats what i was thinking

  • Video Card would probably be the minimum requirements for most modern games. If you can get that bumped up to 1 GB that'd be good. CPU is okay for modern games as well. Bump that up a bit too if you could.

  • pronounce: 'cash' not 'cashe'

  • if you haven't noticed yet., he has an accent ............no offens

  • yes, you are right. I have a bad habit of pronouncing it incorrectly.

  • Do not use psus that come with cases.

  • cpu= central processing unit

  • bro u forgot the cpu but nice vid

  • all these parts make up a CPU, YOU DUMBASS!

  • lol stupido

  • gtfo idiot

  • @YoGi661 He also forgot a pci

  • only thing i would be worried about is your cpu and graphics card if your not going to be playing new high resoloution games then dont worry about the graphics card you cpu is a bit old maybe try something from the intel 7000 or 8000 series

  • you sound like shia lebeouf

  • $70 for a 250 gig? I can get 1TB for $100

  • that's just how it works. i got my 500 gig for 90. of course i "accidentally broke it" and when i sent it off to get it fixed, they bumped me up to 640 gig for free ;)

  • this was made a while ago. 1TB for $100 is the average price today. Then it was not.

  • @pikafan125 im getting a 2TB for 300 xD little to much

  • U also need a controller

  • All of my research shows that AMD makes the better processors. I thought that Intel processors were supposed to be better? What's the truth?

  • try the intel i7

  • to expensive

  • k buy a normal computer for same price but less of everything

  • i saw that on their site and i was all like LEATHER BELT EUUUGHH OOOOOGHH

  • Well, some say that Intel is better, others AMD. AMD has been always cheaper in my experiences, but it depends on your preference.... I don't know, I think they're about equal, but I'm an Intel fan my self.

  • intel is in the lead but amd is great also

  • i reccomend getting Seagate 640GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM thats only 65 dollars

  • Hey, I bought that!

  • tanx a lot man... for ur reply to harvythewondergerbil.. the power suplies 550+ recommended or its just enough for the computer? i want to build one, that could play the sims 3, not laggy. i dont want the top of the top but a good one..

so should i buy the 550 or just exemple 700 is enough.

even just explain me how to buy the right one plz and tanx

  • how do u know if its a gud motherboard???

  • Why is a power supply optional? And also I have a radeon 9600 pro, which I bought as an upgrade for my xp, if I built my own computer could I use 2 graphics.

I would never sell the radeon as I would get less then half I paid for it.

  • how much do you think the total cost of this is???? i would like to know cuz my computer just got a virus and failed so i need a new computer and dont feel like spendin a thousand bucks for a dell laptop

  • u know when u build ur own.. a 1000 dollars computer is a real good computer.

just when u buy piece, make sure the piece are compatible. exemple a motherboard that have already a sound card.. so dont spend on the sound card.

or a processor that goes with the motherboard... i dont know that much but make sure its compatible.

  • It's worth getting a nice case if you want a quiet PC.

The Cool Master HAF 932 case is quite nice, and newegg has it for about $170.

I'm so tired of noisy PC fans.

  • Also, Do you really need a good power supply?

  • It depends on what motherboard you are getting. 550+ watts recommended.

  • Why don't we need a sound card?

  • A lot of motherboards come with them. The one I show in the video has one.

  • lol mice

  • how do u know if its a good mother boared??

  • razer is not so good depend what u like so u cant say

  • instead of doing all that wouldn't it not be easier to buy a computer.

  • It would be easier, but in the long run you have a lot more options with a custom built computer. (and it is cheaper to build your own)

  • yeah i see, at least it somthing to do.

  • its A LOT cheaper.

  • mother board comes with a processor and he didnt forget power supply

  • hahahahaaahahah

  • ... you know your computer won't work without a processor... right?

  • forget about it, i read the other comments, lol

  • Yah, I forgot to list it initially :(

  • oh well, happens to the best of us, lol. that's a pretty major part to forget though, lol

  • Uhm, im 14.. But my dad dont let me build the computer..

He wants me to just buy one -.-¨'', annoying.

  • dont listen to your dad kid. send him to hell.

  • =) hehe

  • You need a power suppy come on LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I said the case I bought came with one...

  • just to let you know that intel dosnt have a true quad core CPU its just 2 dual cores put onto one another, AMD has the true quad core CPU

  • Lmao, Building your own computer is an easy shyt, And saved u alot of money. I can build a computer that is worth £2000 (Alienware). And i am only 13 ...ezpz

  • Alienware overprices everything. Currently their best computer is overpriced by 3k.

  • tyvm helped alot

  • The only thingis that before you hook up your newly built computer to the internet is that you MUST have a firewall and anti virus software.but still...thanks for the info man I will soon make a computer with 1 tb of hard disk space and awesome graphics oh and if your a cimputer case there's a stroe called cbit and there's a case made by foxtech and it has like a few parts in it like the power box and it's only $40 =D lol

  • cool i dident know dhat sorry

  • i was thinking of buying the nforce 780i but do i need to buy a cpu or is it included with it?

  • You need to buy a cpu, but you don't need to buy an audio card because the 780i comes with it. (780i is a very good choice at the moment)

  • you forgot the cpu ahahahahahaahahaa

  • no but just get an expensive motherbord and it comes with it

  • I know, I realized it too later :(. Cpu is one of the most important parts.

  • is this a custom computer your using?

  • yes i have all parts on newegg but live in england so iam ordering vistia from a english shop

  • i mean will it be uk game compatibal

  • yes

  • just wondering will i be abbel to get parts from america and england cuse i live in england

  • theres some great graphics cards on newegg

  • do you need a graphics card or does you mother board has something to replace it like somthine smaller?

  • To build a good computer, you need to buy a graphics card. Some motherboards have built-in graphics cards but the ones I've seen are low quality.

  • thanks that helps

Do you recommend any kind of graphics card?

  • I want to build my own computer but i don't which is better? the Intel Celeron 1.8GHz or the Dual Core 1.8GHz. At my local computer hardware store in Singapore, they packages of everything in one and you build yourself but i have to choose a processor. And so i can,t think of which to choose. Please help??

  • dual core is better. (what is better 2 dollars or 1, thing of it like that)

  • thanks man.

  • gota a thermaltake from bestbuy for 80 and its awsom plenty of space and spots to place fans i have 5 fans right now. great vid

  • Bestbuy tends to rip you off. Go to the store and write down the name and information of the produce you want and then buy it online. (at newegg or amazon)

  • hey man, i was contemplating building a computer and was wondering your opinion on the intel core 2 duo E8400 at 3.0 GHz and 195 dollars on newegg. and the ABIT IP35 pro LGA775 intel p35 atx.

    are those two any good?

  • yes, they both seem good for their price and features

  • ok. thanks so much for your help. i appreciate it.

  • RAM is optional? what?

  • Ram is not optional, I didn't say that. You may be able to run your computer on virtual memory alone but then it would rely on ram from other sources. (and it would run terribly)

  • only if you are going to make a low-rate computer

  • lol, how is that?

  • lol overkill but that's going to be one sweet computer

  • it's similar to ram memory. It is used so the hard drive and processor will act quicker instead of being forced to use your actual ram memory

  • i added the stuff and it came out to be 411.93 without tax. how do u do tax

  • It depends on the tax of where you are buying it. It the tax is 5 percent that you multiply 411.93 by 1.05 to get 432.53

  • do u no where to get cheaper stuff then that

  • can you help me? what processor do you recommend? i want a cheaper processor and good for gamings and some stuff but not so expensive. thnx

  • You say you want a cheaper processor. Whats a price range you are considering?

  • dont u need like a sound card??

  • I showed a motherboard that has a built in sound card. A few motherboards have sound cards. If they don't come with a sound card then its probably a bad motherboard.

  • ohh alrite so i should get a motherboard with a sound card with it???

  • It depends how much money you want to spend. If you have the money to spend, go ahead and buy a good audio card, but really good audio cards can cost a lot of money. In this case, the nforce 680i is a good motherboard with a good integrated audio card. I would recommend buying an nforce 680i or 780i atm and not paying a lot for an audio card.

  • Do you mean the 9600?

  • My bad. No wonder why I couldn't find it.

  • Great video man thanks :)

  • What I mean by optional, I define in the video. Example: the mouse and keyboard and any computer parts that may be bundled. You can't run your computer without a processor. Just clarifying this so some random noob doesn't get mad at me when they build a computer that doesn't turn on because they didn't buy and install a processor.
