i like how parents always push little kids hard, just so they can be rich in the future, but remember, the best golfers of all time and in the world weren't pushed, they were supported so they could trust. But ultimately, kids who are pushed get burned, not #1 in the future. oh, and talent and potential is overrated.
A star at 7, let him be a child first, I have some videos of my kids on here, I think their swings are good and they have played in world ranked tournaments and finished in the top 5, they have had single figure handicaps since they were 10 at a championship coure of the back tees., I wouldn't class them as stars, they are kids. David Howell is not exactly going to say to a six year old that he is not a star so get real. Touting him as the next big star is unfair on the kid, let him play golf.
This is such bullshit. He cant hit it 190 yards. His clubhead speed reaches about 35 miles per hour. You probably mean he hits it 190 feet, not yards.
i know he is only six but im thirteen and when i was his age i could hit my drives about 100 yards but watching his swing he has a year or two before he can hit it that far so he really will never be a champion at that rate
He's now 7 in October and can hit 190 yards on the flat. He can draw the ball, fade the ball, put backspin on it etc as well and has won every competition played in his first year.
He has also been in the newspapers this week with David Howell, as he is being touted as the next star golfer of the future by David Howell himself. So what are you talking about?
parents always think their kid is the best ever he will burn out and not want to play golf
