  • I have a titanium individual i changed the display language but i cant change the voice recognition language is in german the car only speaks german.

  • nice fiesta but the wheel is on the wrong side....

  • Ford should offer Navigation, all other supermini have that option.

  • I've got a titanium. Same kit, had to buy wheels myself as you could not get them for a 1.4. I didn't want a 1.4 but didn't have a choice, I'm 18 and I couldn't get insured. I love the car now had it for a year and a half, apart from it being sluggish cuz it's a 1.4, the car overall isn't bad. However, my next car has to be german!!!

  • I cannot wait until I get one stateside! I am getting the SES Hatch [classified as the Titanium on your side of the pond] but in a 5-door form. looks like i'll have to find a way to have a UK dealer ship me the Titanium badge to slap on her just to make it legit. wish we were getting the diesels though. sweet car and hope you enjoy it! :-)

  • Picked up a frozen white one for my wife yesterday. Whitch cost me £14,500--- £ 4500 for trade in. it olso has the x pack on it too . no body kit, as its a five door. very pleased with it..

  • Hi i picked up a titanium 5 door dtci 1.6 yesterday for my wife. its frozen white . with the x pack. for £14,500--£ 4500 for trade in.verry happy with all functions with the car. only bug bear is no spare wheel in cars these days????

  • You can get a spare wheel but it's an optional extra about £30 .

  • @random275 That not bad for 30 pounds.

  • how much did the whole lot cost??? looking at getting one mid april this year???

  • Hi Mitch - Mine has all the extras you can get. Some I didn't mention like the illuminated scuff plates. The list price was £17k but I got it for £15k for cash no part/ex.

There was a 4 month wait from the time of ordering it - they may have stepped up production now as this was in the middle of the recession. Go to ford's web site and you can "Build" the spec you want and it tells you the recommended dealer price. Cheers Phil

  • Hello, I'm really interested in your car and am thinking about getting one, with the keyless entry,

*How do you go about opening the boot? Is there a button on the boot lid, or do you physically have to press the button on the key fob?

    *Whats it like on fuel?

*Have you encountered anything you dislike about the car?

*Does it display track names when music is being played through an iPod?

    Cheers,

    James

  • Hi James, The boot has a button and if the car is locked as long as you have the fob somewhere on you - you can open the boot.

Fuel - averages about 38 mpg athough the trip computer is a bit more optomistic saying 40-42 mpg.

No problems and nothing I dislike about the car - Glad I bought it.

I play my iphone using the line in jack so you wont see the tracks in the display, but you do if you use the USB socket with a memory stick.

  • @random275

James suggested using the Apple USB cable in conjunction with the line in cable - and bingo you can access all the songs/playlists/albums/artists etc and it all plays perfectly - Many thanks to minimadjames Cheers Phil

  • Hi, Nice Car,

it is the same spec I want,

but I was wondering, there is no temp gauge on the dash, so how do you know how hot the engine is?

  • You're right Ford decided in their wisdom not to include a temperature guage. But there are warning lights if it should ever overheat.

    Cheers Phil

  • Can I ask what the tyre noise is like? I have been interested in one of these for a while on the 17" wheels, but i drove a Zetec S and there was a bit of a roar from the tyres. I have also driven a Titanium on 16" wheels, which was fine. As the Titanium and Zetec S have different suspension, I was wondering if you could let me know what the Titanium is like on 17" wheels.

    Thanks.

  • Hi - There is a bit of tyre noise depending on the road surface, but not enough to put me off. Ford supplied the car with Bridgestone Potenza 205/40/17 tyres, maybe Michelins wold be quieter. The road holding and handling on 17's more than make up for the tyre noise. Phil

  • Hi - Thanks fo this, I'll have to try a get a drive in one!

    P.s. The car looks great!

  • couple of questions, you said i can lock and unlock the car from either side, how do you lock it from the outside?

  • You lock it by pressing that little button on either of the doors. Or you can lock it with the fob by pressing the lock button on the fob.

  • how does the keyless entry work, do you just walk close and press the door button and it unlocks if the keys are nearby?

  • Yes that's exactly right - as long as the fob is within 2 meters of the sensors you can lock and unlock the car from either of the doors. And if you accidentally leave the fob inside the car you cant lock it . They have thought of everything.

  • LOVE IT!!

  • Nice wheels!
