  • You guys are cool awesome

  • Mahtavaa settiä \o/

    Jatkakaa samaan malliin :)

  • Incredible what you do in these conditions, very very original, I like

  • Awesome work! I just orderd one of these cool thingys, though they differ a bit from my original choice of instruments (bass and guitar) i did take piano lessons as a kid, hopefully i'm going to have use for the endless boring hours of hammering the ivory using a stylophone :)

keep up the good work! you're very inspirational!!

  • love this stuff!

  • wow-spot on...although Clockwork was Beethoven, this does sound like it would fit nicely in :-)

  • Absolutely beautiful. Good job.

  • Stylophones live forever!

  • wow, wonderful!

  • the best stylaphone video yet

  • on a scalle from 1- 10 taht was definiatly a 10 i like how you ended it VERY FUNNY haha ... i didnt think i could luagh so much not only that but i luaghed so hard [=

  • strangely haunting

  • jännää soundia ku tollasilla soittelette.

  • Linja-autossa oli tunnelmaa. :)

  • Why the purism about buying only original stylophones? They're hard to find, expensive, and not necessarily in good repair. The new ones can be had for US$20.

  • The new ones make a "clean" sound because it is made by a computer chip. The old ones use old-style capacitators and resistors. Thus you can replace the parts of the old ones and make tenor, alt, bass, soprano and other stylophones!

Secondly, a violin or a piano is not a computer too. It is an instrument on which a human *plays*, not "computes". Every artistic instrument leaves some room for errors and imprecision!

  • Absolutely agree! The new ones use a 555 chip. Sounds like rubbish.

  • Awesome =D

Heyyyy can you check out some of my Stylophone videoss? =) I would really appreciate it!

    Stylophones FTW! =]

  • you guys rock! i love this one and the bach cover. i have an black vintage stylophone, i realize now the white model is the shit! since it have higher notes. :/ i will try to find a white to. thanks again. gave me alot of inspiration ! im down in sweden but fuck Where can i see your live show?!? ride on.. RIDE ON! /adam.k

  • tää o kyl siis iha loisto :P samoi o toi bach.

itekki vast hankin stylon... kunnon treenit vaa päälle.

  • Brilliant

  • i love the way the balance changes as the camera moves between the different stylophones, thats part of what makes this interesting to listen to I think. I love using strange instruments in my tracks. A video I just posted uses a wooden frog I picked up in Thailand for percussion at the beginning

  • I especially like the glissandos (glissandoes?).

  • excellent! ive always loved this tune....

  • It's f'in epic!

  • interesting

  • Oddly moving

  • cool. very epic!

  • semelhant ring tone of my mobile phone ehehehe

  • graet!! have you a band?

  • i love adagio and that was epic!

  • oh my

    that was great

  • Love It. Is it words to this song? anyone

  • Love Albinoni!

    Love Stylophones!

    : )

  • Original for sure.

  • very cool. some baroque composers would be impressed im sure

  • Sounds like one of those freakishly horrible NES songs on some epic game lol.

  • Did this cause that train wreck in CA??!

  • I'd be pissed if I was on that bus.

  • I was waiting fer ya t2 do more

  • Very cool. Great vid.

  • What a creative and skilled blend of unusual, relatively modern " instruments" and a very beautiful, older composition. Hats off to your innovation and to Finland!

  • i dont get it

  • You rock. Long live Finland. If you grew up here in the US you'd be playing Guitar Hero. My sympathies, however, to the other passengers (depending on how long you rehearsed.)

  • this was actually pretty good, but it has very few views for a featured video...

Btw... this video has a super long title (like 2 lines long) does anyone know how he does it?

    /watch?v=ipRFYiWgML4

  • Dude!

  • Another example of musicians changing the world for the better. Let's have more musicians!

  • Nice!

  • Raccoon Willie has a new film out today!!!

  • I have a stylophone and must really make more effort- well done chaps!

  • No range of dynamics, schmaltzy glissando do not a musician make, a most disturbing sound; this will be a highlight of my new nightmare mix for Halloween!!

  • Wow... that was just great. I'm speechless.

  • wonderful! this is the essence of making music!

  • VEEEERY Intereeeesting! Bravo! TY.

  • I love this piece of music, but I would have been pissed if I'd been in the same carriage as those freaks.

  • looking forward to the 1812 overture...

  • gibb253-How about the flight of the bumblebee,or the de Falla-ritual fire dance? Haha

  • The sky's the limit!!!

Mind you I thought cycler's comment was funny- I'm sure it was a joke, but it seems to have been taken the wrong way. Anyway, respect to these guys -real music on toy instruments.

  • Well, that's fantastic! How lovely.

I still have my original 1960s Stylophone, working, bought with Brooke Bond tea savings stamps.

  • thats well good!

  • sounds like something stephen hawking would sing O____O

  • Hahaha

  • lolz

  • Very nice, thanks for sharing =)

  • Rolf Harris would be proud of this!

  • awesome

my gal bought me one of these for xmas

she got it off of ebay

  • that's fantastic

  • my favorite adagio of all. that was great! don't let the poor comments get you down.........just remember what kind of listener they are coming from. you guys should look into doing a kaossilator quartet next!

  • Do the Moonlight Sonata!

  • Beautiful but sad-sounding song....

  • Oh my god, that was awesome. I love that song and that sounded fuckin' sweet! And hey, funbari 77, who wrote it if not Albinoni?

  • Bravo Bravo !!

  • Dark, too dark. It appears that two people are working on taxes with some nasally funeral music in the background while on a train in Canada.

  • That really is very nice! The four of you make that cheesy instrument sound GREAT!

I used to demo the Stylophone 350S in the late 70's. The distributor (in Hollywood) had us playing some really awful songs. If we'd have done what you are doing, it would have been a lot more fun. ;-)

  • tha was incredible.! *claps* fivstars

  • lol are they on public transportation, I hope the person in the next seat does not want to sleep.nicely done though

  • this is brilliant.

  • wow that was cool!

  • Sounds to me like you guys were really bored...

  • Impressive performance of a long inaccurately accredited composition ;)

  • inaccurate post of an eloquent brainfart

  • 5 stars because it is a novel use of a popular "cheesy" sounding keyboard, played by 2 talented musicians performing difficult and beautiful music. are you familiar with the piece? recognize the musicianship? cheers!

  • beautiful! and as to the other negative comments - can any of those people tell one note from another - let alone play an instrument? these guys in this video have excellent musical ears and skill besides! impressive!

  • Congrats on getting featured! Kudos!!!

  • Sounds a little like the dramatic music they use in the Hamtaro GBA game.

  • How does this have 5 stars. This must be joke. How could anyone have SOOOO much time to waste.....

  • That was awesome!

Good work and keep having fun with that!

  • Not trying to sound mean but this did not sound good too me at all.

  • That is understandable. It is a sound that appeals to people mostly for nostalgic reasons.

    I love it.

  • if i was sitting next to them on the train i would have smashed their hands about 1 minute in

  • cool, though the sound can come off as a little annoying.

  • Very well arranged and performed guys!

Too dark ?? I don't think so - this specific piece of music is dark and unsetling.

You settings and executing - felt all the way over on this side of the screen.

    thanks!

  • Pretty awesome! I think my friends would kill me if I bought one of these though ;-)

  • Sounded great to me. Thanks!

  • gay..

  • Dark, too dark. It appears that two people are working on taxes with some funeral music in the background while on a train in Canada.

  • weird.

  • oh, how i wish i could read music...

  • Play Motorhead. Play Motorhead.

  • thats so kool... i used to hate the stylophone sound, but the way u guys made the chords sound bareable almost make me wanna get one... but the key word is almost kuz i know that if i get one ill just be pissed at how bad it sounds alone and ill end up destroying it

  • Thats hilarious dude... I went thru that exact same thought process w/same conclusion... Awesome video and playing tho.

  • Dark, too dark. It appears that two people are working on taxes with some funeral music in the background while on a train.

  • Holy crap, that's amazing. One of my favorite pieces too.

  • This is amazing, i need to persuade some friends to take up the stylophone....

  • I fuckin love stylophones!

    Very impressive

  • FRICKing AWESOME!

  • crap

  • Sepultura meets the village people ?

    Yes :P

    watch?v=7SSTnxs_yxI

  • The stylophone has that nasally sound like bagpipes do. Really annoying at first, but I kind of like it now.

  • Fantastic:)

But I am glad I wasn't on that train!

  • Ahahaha! Little annoying, isn't it?

  • that was awesome

  • lol i want one :D

  • Nice! That's pretty damn awesome.

  • youuuuuuuuu i hate you

  • awesome!!

  • can u give me a link to buy an original one please mate

  • Sounds like legend of zelda music...woopdy-do.

  • Very good!

  • This was pretty inconsiderate. It must be very irritating for the other passengers. I'm surprised no one told you to answer your god damn phone.

  • How do you identify the bass, standard and treble stylophones? I've heard that the bass instrument is gold in colour, but how about the other two?

  • @ShokaLion

Treble Stylophone is white and standard is black. I couldn't find a bass Stylophone so I had to modify a treble Stylophone to bass register by changing two components on the circuit board.

  • Albinoni is great!

  • I think you should perform this a Rolf Harris's funeral.

  • this was badass. Good job

  • fantastic. also all the other videos. gotta love that sound.

  • fantastic.

  • Had a boring bus trip? ;)

  • win

  • This one surely has it all. A wonderful composition, crude sound with the ring of self-made medieval instruments and the great joy of making music. Bloody brilliant! Can we have some more of this?

  • u guys are legends lol im writing this as the video plays lolol truly remarkable!

  • you've broken the envelope for the coolest thing i've seen on youtube.

  • amazing

  • I think that seals it, I'm subscribing and I wish Mann Gegen Mann all the best. I know that I'm now a fan and I'm also going on a Stylophone hunt.
