just listening to this lifts me up. I've been so down lately, my dad has had cancer for 2 1/2 years, he just had brain surgery but he is at peace with whatever happens. he has had a wonderful life <3
@Chesterbarnes1 This is not the Mennonite Choir. This one is sung by the concert choir of Harding University at Searcy, Ark. My wife and I went to college there in the early 1970's. The Mennonite Choir is also very good, just that they did not do this video.
On the happy golden shore, where the faithful part no more, when the storms of life are over....you'll meet me, my mum, my late father, my sisters and my brothers!!!!!
Yes, and the words have become so meaningful to her in these difficult days that she so often has...I am happy she has something to look forward to...
@Dear ulsterstan: There is no "Rapture" taught in the New Testament, but I agree totally with your sentiments and desire to be ready to be caught up with our Lord at His coming to judge all mankind at the LAST DAY. God bless you!
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
That's 1 Thessalonians chapter 4.
The word rapture is not used in the new testament, yes, but that doctrine is taught, and is taught by Paul.
Rapture, is a Latin word meaning "Caught up" the word is not used in the old testament, but evidences of it's prophecy are everywhere. read 1 Corinthians chapter 15.
when you all die your gonna rot in the ground and everyones gonna forget you haha

I think the Rapture is very, very close. He shall come as a thief in the night. Be ready.
