The Air Shadow is a great replica in format of the metal-bladed "Midwest Fan-Lite" made by Midwest Chandelier in the 1930s. Collectors call the old ones "bird fans". They're rather rare, and one of two or three novel ceiling fan/light ideas of that time, also including the Guthfan, Fandolier and Victor Zephyr.
