There was also a Simon segment that took place at Ernie and Bert's apartment. Simon stopped by because his car broke down. It took Ernie a long time to figure out that Simon merely wanted to use the phone to call for a tow truck.

I think I actually remember this one, and I don't usually have memories of the muppet sketches. Simon the Soundman (was that his name?) also appeared on one of my childhood Sesame Street LPs. He pops up on "Ernie's Hits" in the sketch entitled "The Man Who Needs Help."
