I don't think Afghanistan would've had half the religous oppression going on without the fact that they have been practically in a constant war for their existence. So no, they are not doing the right thing. But USA invading does not exctly help now does it? Perhaps simply aiding the afghan people, so they may develop in a prosperous and peaceful environment would've saved thousands and thousands of lives.

Marine leaders are the best, I will never forget my battalion commander and Sgt.
