NIce video. I can't film where I work so if you don't mind I'll show this to my friends who don't understand what I do.
Question: Why did you flip half the lift upside down? I've been in printing for a long time and never seen anyone do that.
Suggestion: Ask one of the feeders where you work to show you how to throw paper. I used to grab it like you do but if you use your entire hand you can throw 2-3 times as much in lift.
@arazu88 The cards I was cutting were coated with glitter UV varnish which means the lifts aren't an even height. You need to reverse half of them to make the clamp pressure even and stop the paper pulling as the knife cuts. The cuts I didn't make were die-cut previously on another machine. That's also the reason for the small lifts.
@FreefallFool Thanks! I've never dealt with glitter varnish but now I know how to handle it I ever do. I'm sorry about my suggestion. I hope it didn't offend you. It's obvious from the video that you know what you're doing. It was a bad assumption on my part probably made because that day I had been given a helper to throw paper for me and he threw tiny lifts like that. I didn't mean to be critical. The question was an honest one and the suggestion a poor assumption. =)
Damn boy, you've got a great body. Please consider doing the next one without pants, too. And dance around a little... you're crazy hot! I'd love to "get to know you".
anyone that has decent cutting exp knows those were die cut and he had auto knive set to cut only the gutters leaving the finished product intact and ready. and just how hot was it in there to have ur shirt off? i have worked in climate controled building before and currently work in one that is not climate controled and summers are very hot and not in my wildest dreams can i strut my mini keg around like that XD nice upload.

doesn't your light barrier work? the knife should not engage while you're leaning into it like that.
jimmydigital 2 years ago
There's a knack to keeping your arms low and not leaning too far forwards but the light barrier was fully functional at all times.

Yo no entiendo como es que al principio pones las hojas completas y en los dos primeros cortes salen en cuatro partes. Let me try in English
I don't understand you put complete sheet and in the two second cuts are in small pieces.
Elcajemense 2 years ago
The sheets are die cut previously. :o)
