@ShadowWorldSniper The quadro 6000 is basically a slightly underclocked GTX480 (fermi architecture) which means it would run most games at a perfectly acceptable rate....its just that the quadro goes for about $1700 US, and the 480 has been superseded by the GTX 580/590 - which is about $500 US. So, If you are a 3d modeller on a budget, buy a GTX580 and know that your card wipes the floor with a quadro6000, for around a third of the price.

@HiDefTutorials the 6990 would still run cad and animation programs slower.I dont know where you get your info the reason their slower is because they technically calculate in a differernt type of math processors and vise versa if u you were to use the quadro for gaming it would run much slower thats why they don't even want to use cards like the 6990 for this stuff
