The addition of clean vocals into the songs sounds great, barely sounds forced and adds some more layering to the songs, as did the extra keyboard use, some of the riffs wern't to great but there were plenty of sick ones to go around. Slipknot is a joke because it tries to bridge the gap between pop and thrash metal, and fails at both. I see why you would respect them for getting you into metal, but you should have found someone like Iron Maiden, or Opeth, which are the two bands that got me into metal. I'm just saying that if they got you into metal, you should leave them behind, because Slipknot is BAD metal.
