question did u replace the back speakers before u put the sub in or did u just leave the rear speakers cuz i got the same car and im putin 3 15's JL audios in the trunk so i dont know should i replace the rear speakers first so they dont blow or just leave them cuz the bass is goin to the subs ?

I have a 2000 ford Taurus. Next Sat. I am installing my new system:

1000 watt alpine Amp

one Kicker L7 solo-baric 15 in a slotted box

Cde-103 alpine head unit

pioneer 6x8 door speakers

Raptor 1 farad cap.

Sure beats the 2 alpine type e's i currently have installed.

well this sub hits very hard. man as you can tell from the video like 50 ft away man and its still loud ass fuck. inside it was crazy. but not nearly as bad as my 18 solo x setup lol

I've got the 1999 version of the same car. The door panel's make it really easy to build speaker pods.

btw, I use to have a 15 Fi BL. 4ft' Enclosure at 38hz. Pretty damned loud. I'd tune a little lower though if I had the chance again.

love the Fi subs but still think the best combo is FI rockford, not to take anything away from your vid. Great vid man

Damn nice! finally someone takes a video of their subwoofers from distance. i think its always better to see some vids of subwoofers from distance to see how loud they are and how good they shound than just all the blurryness from cameras inside the car or too close to the subwoofer. Nice vid man! also nice setup!

yo bro i tried hookin subs up in my 99 taurus but ended up getting a headache cuz the space ship controls on the oval stereo were all digital & couldn't be replaced with an adaptor :(

i just changed my deck and i was good. they sell a dash kit at bestbuy for like 75$ and then u have to buy a deck too. but its fully adjustable

Wicked good for one 15 if you ask me. And I should know. Keep knockin man. it sounded like you were right up close to the car the entire time. =)Once you got in, the camera mic went absolutely nuts though.
