@pcnerd1010 Keeping in mind the musical Spring Awakening didn't open until 3 years after Bare premiered (though the play is much much older). But yes, this show does feel quite a lot like the first one and a half acts of Spring Awakening... not that that's a bad thing, this is quite a brilliant show.

I don't know exactly why they have mics, but I'm assuming that that is why the sound is fairly good quality. Which may be why they had mics, after all they had a whole set of cameras to record this

Don't care what people say about the casting (I personally think both actors are gorgeous) because besides the singers on the album these guys have some of the greatest vocals and chemistry I've seen in Bare. I agree with the looking too old but the cubby part eh, it's public theatre haha. You can't have everything. This looks like a really cheesy production though. The one they did in St. Cloud Minnesota was tragic but it was fun to see it.

I just have to mention that I love the fact that the Hail Mary was messed up at the beginning, accidental or no. It really helped show Peter's frustration and confusion. The way he said the last line of the prayer sounded as though he had realized his mistake and was apologizing for it.

Mad props, especially if all that came from foretting the line. ;)
