I went through a similar experience here in London years ago. Me and a friend had a two bedroom, with no heat. The slumlord owned a used appliance store downstairs, and he controlled the heat. During the day, there was a little bit of heat, at night, none. So I'd heat the place with the electric stove. I'd have it cranked up all the way, and just to be an asshole, I'd run the hot water in the shower while I went out.
When I'd get back from going out or wherever, everything was shut off.
Pt2. Everything was shut off. The TV, oven, shower, all the lights. There would be a note every time, telling us not to leave everything on. Yeah, the fucking prick was coming in without proper notice. One time he came in and I was home and his response was "what are you doing here?", excuse me? I fucking live here. I chased him out with a hockey stick.
Another time, he sent up one of his goons who was banging on the wall. I kicked the shit out of him with that same hockey stick.
Pt3. After whipping his ass, told him to GTFO and if he calls the cops, I'll just say he broke in. We went through six more weeks of hell with that slumlord. If it wasn't one thing, it was another.
In the end, I ended up moving back in with my grandma, and my friend moved into his own place. But before we left, we had a good ol' fashioned house wrecking party, and smashed all the kitchen cupboards and the bathroom up pretty bad.
Pt4. Do I feel bad? Fuck no. That asshole had it coming, and boy did it feel good to let off some rage.
He had no way to track us down because he didn't know anything about us. Just a typical slumlord that will rent to anyone, without a care in the world of who they are, or where they're from. So long as they have the money to pay him, he's happy.
He has(or had) quite the history of doing what he did to us.
@LondonOntGuy, no problem, there no need to apologize for expressing yourself and your experiences. You do have to wonder about these guys who don't ask for references. Half the time, I get them all together, and the perspective landlord won't even take a look at them, it's the money that they see first. Even my current landlord, didn't even take a look at my references, although the house is very nice and in the countryside on 3 acres of land.
2. There was of course the same matter of fixing all the plumbing, as all the water pipes had burst from a previous winter of no heat and no occupants. Still, for the house I got, it seemed a small price to pay, considering what I would have gotten in the city for the same money. And by small price, I'm not referring to the cost of rent.
3. Rent prices have been ridiculous since 1981. In 1981 (this was in Toronto) you could get a 2 bedroom for $300. or under. In 1982 that same 2 bedroom would have rented for $700. up.
I'm from Hamilton too, just loss my case at the tribunal hearing and am convinced that the "judge" throws out all logic and reason out the window and sides with the landlord almost no matter what. No faith in the system, full of a bunch of degenerates, may they repent or burn in hell for their corruption.

@regdapimp06, the previous tenents, this was taken the day I was to move in a few years back now. Fortunately I'm in a way much better place in a different town/city currently.
I must point out, these past tenents moved out a month proir to my move-in date. The landlord had a full month to effect repairs and clean up proir to the move-in date as he promised to do, he did not.

Uhm, you should have never even considered this place at all. I've seen shithole apartments and homes for rent, with landloards saying they would clean up the problems. My reply to them was "clean it up and call me back for a re-viewing." Never got stuck in a shithole with that policy.
The housing tribunal is a joke. I rented an apartment in St. Catharines Ontario last year, and in the winter, I had no heat and was constantly sick because of it. I called the landlord, and they sent someone to "fix" it about 6 times. Then when I still had no heat, they basically just did nothing when I called them, so I took it to the tribunal. They claimed that the temperature in my apartment was 22 degrees, and that it just wasn't warm enough for me, so the judge ruled in their favour.
@autumnsylver That's because they are not concerned for the violations of the landlords, they run it more like a business and not like a court of law. And as with any business, their goal is return customers. Tenats pay only $45. to take landlords to tribunal. And are unlikely to return after moving to a decent place. Landlords pay $150. to hold a tribunal, and as scumlords they are also likely to be repeat customers.
@autumnsylver Really? That's strange, I had to pay $45. to take this guy to tribunal. When was this that you took yours to tribunal? Or perhaps it was the landlord who took you to tribunal? If that was the case, then there would be no charge to you, unless you lost the case. Even in that case they have a poor inforcement policy and most likely didn't collect of you even though you were ruled against.
@mrgionni I took my landlord to the tribunal. I did lose, because it was about there not being any heat in my apartment, and they claimed that every time the guy came to fix the heat, he checked the thermostat and it was 22 degrees, which is a blatant lie. I wouldn't have had to wear 2 layers of clothes, a sweatshirt and a blanket over me and still feel the cold if that was true. I wouldn't have had 6 colds in 3 months if that was true.
They never said anything to me about a charge for it.

LANDLORDS--------Do your credit checks and GUT FEELS when screening potential tenants. Also, get a guarantor. In case the tenant CANNOT pay rent. Request to see tenants drivers licence to verify their identity.
That's all good, except I don't drive. Every thing else is reasonable. And Tenants also should do checks on Landlords. Many will tell you they will take care of the problems and disrepairs as soon as their current tenat leaves, some do, others will stiff you. If the landlord seems too eager to rent to you, chances are there is something wrong with the rental unit. Check the functionality of the water, furnace, stove, hydro, windows, do not allow them to rush your decision.

No I didn't like the place and have been out of there since April 2008. And I now live in a beautiful 5 bdrm country home on 3 acres of land, I even have my own pond now. You would think it make a good story, but I'm not sure if society would like exposing some of it's negative aspects. One must remember this was something the Ontario Housing Tribunal seems to not only approve of but allows to go on and rewards the culprits for doing so. Why should they care? They make more money of landlords than they do tenants, and that's what it is really about with them, money, income and their paychecks. Justice is a word that doesn't exist in their vocabulary.
Wrong. Landlords have more say in the Tribunal, hell mine didn't even have to furnish one scrap of evidense, his word was better than 250 photos and this video footage. A statement I received after the case has wording such as the tenant showed, compared to the landlord said. Also for an extra $100. I had a place far better place, and for $250. more now I have an amazing place. So sorry, but Wrong, wrong, wrong! You're a landlord, right?
I may as well add, the place I had right after the place in the video, I was paying $75. less and although small it had windows, and working gas and water heater. Seem like you are trying to justify the lack of these necessities. Upkeep of a rental units furnace and water heater are landlords responsibility. Payment of the utilities is usually the tenants responsibity when renting a house. But they should be in working order and not health & safety voilations. Are you, a Slum Lord?
Oh my Indian Landlord was like that, I did a landscaping job for him, I was even cutting him a huge deal by asking $100. and he's wouldn't part with anything more than $20. That's not worth a 16 hour day. But this Pakistani was even worse, I did a landscape job for him and I got to eat some chicken wings, WOW. If they weren't my landlords I'd have taken them to the labour board. But being a renter from them they can cause all kinds of unwarranted problems for tenants. As you well know.

The previous tenants were living there when I first looked at it, he had blamed all the disrepair on them and said it would all be fixed and taken care of by the move in date, it was not. At the time I was asked to see the space and not the damage or mess as that was supposed to be gone and repaired before my move-in date.

Hey man, I just want to say I'm really sorry that you had to deal with that guy, what a dirtbag. I'm a landlord in Hamilton and I've never seen something so terrible. All the best, give yourself lots of time to look for a place, even if it means looking at 20, 30, 50 houses, trust me, it's worth it to find the right place.
Sometime between now and spring I will be doing just that. I used to be on the corner of Wentworth and Burlinton Streets. My rented house there was the attraction of the neighbourhood. I created gardens that attracted people just to come and look, it was a beautiful sight that stood out from a mile away when traveling west on Burlington Street. I was well respected in that neighbourhood. Having a good landlord and the right home makes all the differance in the world.
When I left the home on Wentworth Street, not the dump pictured in the video, before that time. My landlord there added an extra $10,000 to the sale value of the house because of the yard work I had done. If you know of any properties that could use someone who can landscape I would really like to here from you again. I could provide photos of my work. You may even get a small glimpse of my work by view the first video of my Barton Street series. Moving from Wentworth to Barton was my undoing.

Circumstances often force us to accept that which we are not wanting to. I explained it all I think several times over in the comments section on this video. I took the landlords to court, had lots of colour photos, written testimony for other agencies and yet the so called judge ruled in favour of the landlord on his word alone. Which in turn forced me to move to an even crappier location. I will not waste my money on such a farce of a hearing again.

Oh yeah Dundas is very nice, I would love to find a nice place out there, I think I would be of a benefit to Dundas , I love to garden and have 100's of Cactus, and since the cactus greenhouses closed down I can imagine the cactus festival is not the same as it once was any more. I really like Dundas I often ride a bike out that way to enjoy the scenery :)

Neither could I, but there is and it's called Hamilton. Maybe if they started cracking down on these guys instead of turning a blind eye, then maybe their city would start to improve. Know what it is? It's about generating money, it more economical to side for the landlords as they charge them more, and gotta keep the highest paying clients happiest. Besides, ask any of the judges where they live and it probably isn't in Hamilton. Maybe Ancastor, Burlington or Stoney Creek.
In the end, it always comes down to the all mighty Paycheck, land owners help provide this, not only from paying higher tribunal fee but through taxes and property taxes. The system is corrupt, because a lot of the people within it are corrupt. Hell I'd even go as far as to say Board Member Elizabeth Beckett is corrupt. The paper work on the house is in the mans wife's name Farzana Sajjad. The one responsible for renting (the husband), is responsible for maintenace and repairs and rent collection, basically any interactions with the tenant, his name is Sajjad Haider.
That was my thoughts at first. The trinal was held two days, one day per month, the first day the judge seemed completely on our side, even awarded us a months free rent. The second day the landlord showed up with a lawyer, two of his workers and some falsified work orders. And although they still couldn't present a solid case and his worker had conflicting stories, I found myself being evicted and fined for having to go trough that crap. It was a complete turn around, without cause.
One of the things I know to be a complete and utter voilation of my rights was that I wasn't allowed to cross examine the landlords or the statements made by the landlords representatives. As far as I know, everone is supposed to have the right to cross examine. At least in a real court, this tribunal seemed the furthest thing away from being anything close to a real court or trial.
Can you appeal the decision of the tribunal hearing, or has it gone beyond being worth it now? I would continue to post the landlord's name and would add any business info that you have as well. They can't turn a profit if people know what they're about, and profit is all that keeps them in the business.
I had a month in which to appeal it, but being given 10 days to vacate I had a choice, either use my money to move or use it to fight this injustice, and judging by the results the first time, I think I made the right decision. And seeing the Tribunal doesn't follow it on rules I think anyone should concider the same. Do it the way you get justice, screw the unfair system. You have a point though about profit. Funny thing is I only had the Property Standards fix the lower two floors, I did that just incase I was going th get $#!+ on by the system. Ironically friends of the landlord recently rented the place thinking it was all repaired, I heard they was taking a shower on the 2nd floor and the whole thing collapesed into the kitchen on the floor below. Why I made a previous mistake of moving to Barton St and moved my business there, I went from earning $100. a day to $20. in sales a month. After a year of that I was taped for cash and had to take what I can get, It's called poverty.
What sucks more is the landlord made false statements in court, had no supporting evidence, and the Judge Elizabeth Beckett ruled in his favour on his word alone, in the face of all my 200 photos, letters from Government Agencies verifying my claims. I have 10 days to move, can you believe that!

Ontario Housing Tribunal Update: Today I went to court against this landlord. I had well over 200 photos of the damages, legal documentation from Property Standards, the Tecnical Standards & Safety Association, and the Health Dept. I had signed evidence from neighbouring businesses stating the house was in a state of serious disrepair. I had this and other videos and audio on disk.
I couldn't present it though, as they (the court) are still using old technology (VHS). I did everything by the book and with all honesty. I went all winter without heat or hot water. Yet this was not enough for the Ontario Housing Tribunal. To add insult to injury, the landlord made a counter claim, stating I did these damages, I broke windows while without heat in the middle of winter, I appearantly did cause the years worth of disrepair and damages.
What's worse, the landlord filing the counter claim, for some unknown reason, did not need to attend, I asked to call them to the stand and the judge dimissed my calling of them to testify. The other landlord made up false papers, his witnesses couldn't even get their stories straight. They lied under oath, claimed they couldnt make repairs because I was never home. Yet at the same time they saw the aledged damages I have done, and one went as far as to say I sold drugs to him. Yet I wasnt home?
The landlord's had no evidence to back these claims. No copies of reciepts or legal documentation varifying their claims. Contradictory stories came from him and his witness, one confessed to being a drug addict in court. Starting yelling when it came my turn to question him. Basically they lied through the whole process. And guess what happened, I have 14 days to move and $1,500. dollars in hydro bills from sapce heaters.
He claimed to the judge he had given me $350 to buy a couple cans of foam insulation. He claimed the broken windows seen in the video were done by me and stated that they each cost over $1,200. The judge even asked how he came to this figure, he did not answer. However, he got off scot free, and is now being allowed to do this to someone all over again. This is Justice in Hamilton Ontario, were the dirty and guity thrive and the innocent are victimized. This is Kangaroo Court.
Can you believe I submitted this evidence to a tribunal and asked to pay into a trustie for a rent reduction and for landlords refusal to collect rent. And they said "Your request does not costitute any unusual circumstances as to why you need to pay your rent into the Board"
While I understand that it's wrong for landlords to be like this, I think that you dropped the ball on this one. By renting this place you supported his idea that he can do this. You should have reported him for even trying to rent you something like that when you first went to look at it.
Correction, it did look like a crack house, now it's just a fire trap, and a huge walk-in freezer. You really don't think I'd leave that graffiti on the walls? That's the whole problem with this guy, he rents to those types of people so often, that when he gets a normal tenant, he thinks we are being unreasonable. That's exactly why I didn't call them yet, bad enough all winter without heat or hot water. Wasn't ready to thrust myself in the dark also, it can wait. Good news the city put in a new furnace and water heater, court seems to be going well now also. Landlord called for adjournment, said he was unprepared, was crying for a lawyer.

It was rough, to say the least, took a lot of losses on live house plants, which is a part of my business. Yup I hope they get him too, he does this to all his tenants, in all his homes and apartments. I hear the province is concidering criminal charges against him. But is looking good so far.

Unless this was the only option I think that I would have just moved away, If I had to stay there #1 Priority would be to haul all the trash out of the house then give everything a good scrubbing, $1.00 gallon of bleach and mild soap and water go a long way! But we each do what we can and should hold others up to standards.
Oh I've done all that before I even released this video. The current and outstanding problems are no hot water and no heat, this has been ongoing for 4 months now. Every month the landlord collects his rent and promises repairs, and then disappears till rent is due again.

I have over 25o friends at a site called friendster, about 240 of them are female so sounds like a good place to be :D Besides I like the flora and fauna of tropical areas, I had both a business in both plants and pets before all this happened.

Update: For all the incriminating evidence I had, it was nothing in the eyes of Board Member Elizabeth Beckett and the landlords spoken testimony, without any backing evidence, was more than enough for her. Mock Justice is what it's called, if it were real it would have turned out differently.

What more a shame is how the court let him get away with it in light of all my evidence and other government documents supporting my claim Over 200 photos, written testimonials, and other supporting documentations. It would have been cheaper for me to hire a crackhead with a baseball bat.

I will take him to court, but you have to be careful who you call. I already made that mistake once and my gas was shut off. Like I said they only care about themselves, not I, and guess what? For an update on this reply, I did take the guy to court, but after I seen how flawed and biased the system is first hand, never again will I ever seek justice through such corrupt individuals and or agencies. There's more than one way to skin a cat ;)

He had no way to track us down because he didn't know anything about us. Just a typical slumlord that will rent to anyone, without a care in the world of who they are, or where they're from. So long as they have the money to pay him, he's happy.
He has(or had) quite the history of doing what he did to us.

Half the time, I get them all together, and the perspective landlord won't even take a look at them, it's the money that they see first. 2. There was of course the same matter of fixing all the plumbing, as all the water pipes had burst from a previous winter of no heat and no occupants. Still, for the house I got, it seemed a small price to pay, considering what I would have gotten in the city for the same money. And by small price, I'm not referring to the cost of rent.

3. Rent prices have been ridiculous since 1981. In 1981 (this was in Toronto) you could get a 2 bedroom for $300. or under. In 1982 that same 2 bedroom would have rented for $700. up.

I'm from Hamilton too, just loss my case at the tribunal hearing and am convinced that the "judge" throws out all logic and reason out the window and sides with the landlord almost no matter what. No faith in the system, full of a bunch of degenerates, may they repent or burn in hell for their corruption.

Uhm, you should have never even considered this place at all. I've seen shithole apartments and homes for rent, with landloards saying they would clean up the problems. My reply to them was "clean it up and call me back for a re-viewing." Never got stuck in a shithole with that policy.

The housing tribunal is a joke. I rented an apartment in St. Catharines Ontario last year, and in the winter, I had no heat and was constantly sick because of it. I called the landlord, and they sent someone to "fix" it about 6 times. Then when I still had no heat, they basically just did nothing when I called them, so I took it to the tribunal. They claimed that the temperature in my apartment was 22 degrees, and that it just wasn't warm enough for me, so the judge ruled in their favour.

And as with any business, their goal is return customers. Tenats pay only $45. to take landlords to tribunal. And are unlikely to return after moving to a decent place. Landlords pay $150. to hold a tribunal, and as scumlords they are also likely to be repeat customers.

Even in that case they have a poor inforcement policy and most likely didn't collect of you even though you were ruled against.

I did lose, because it was about there not being any heat in my apartment, and they claimed that every time the guy came to fix the heat, he checked the thermostat and it was 22 degrees, which is a blatant lie. I wouldn't have had to wear 2 layers of clothes, a sweatshirt and a blanket over me and still feel the cold if that was true. I wouldn't have had 6 colds in 3 months if that was true.
They never said anything to me about a charge for it.

LANDLORDS--------Do your credit checks and GUT FEELS when screening potential tenants. Also, get a guarantor. In case the tenant CANNOT pay rent. Request to see tenants drivers licence to verify their identity.

That's all good, except I don't drive. Every thing else is reasonable. And Tenants also should do checks on Landlords. Many will tell you they will take care of the problems and disrepairs as soon as their current tenat leaves, some do, others will stiff you. If the landlord seems too eager to rent to you, chances are there is something wrong with the rental unit. Check the functionality of the water, furnace, stove, hydro, windows, do not allow them to rush your decision.

You would think it make a good story, but I'm not sure if society would like exposing some of it's negative aspects. One must remember this was something the Ontario Housing Tribunal seems to not only approve of but allows to go on and rewards the culprits for doing so. Why should they care? They make more money of landlords than they do tenants, and that's what it is really about with them, money, income and their paychecks. Justice is a word that doesn't exist in their vocabulary.

A statement I received after the case has wording such as the tenant showed, compared to the landlord said. Also for an extra $100. I had a place far better place, and for $250. more now I have an amazing place. So sorry, but Wrong, wrong, wrong! You're a landlord, right?

I may as well add, the place I had right after the place in the video, I was paying $75. less and although small it had windows, and working gas and water heater. Seem like you are trying to justify the lack of these necessities. Upkeep of a rental units furnace and water heater are landlords responsibility. Payment of the utilities is usually the tenants responsibity when renting a house. But they should be in working order and not health & safety voilations. Are you, a Slum Lord?

Oh my Indian Landlord was like that, I did a landscaping job for him, I was even cutting him a huge deal by asking $100. and he's wouldn't part with anything more than $20. That's not worth a 16 hour day. But this Pakistani was even worse, I did a landscape job for him and I got to eat some chicken wings, WOW. If they weren't my landlords I'd have taken them to the labour board. But being a renter from them they can cause all kinds of unwarranted problems for tenants. As you well know.

The previous tenants were living there when I first looked at it, he had blamed all the disrepair on them and said it would all be fixed and taken care of by the move in date, it was not. At the time I was asked to see the space and not the damage or mess as that was supposed to be gone and repaired before my move-in date.

Sometime between now and spring I will be doing just that. I used to be on the corner of Wentworth and Burlinton Streets. My rented house there was the attraction of the neighbourhood. I created gardens that attracted people just to come and look, it was a beautiful sight that stood out from a mile away when traveling west on Burlington Street. I was well respected in that neighbourhood. Having a good landlord and the right home makes all the differance in the world.

When I left the home on Wentworth Street, not the dump pictured in the video, before that time. My landlord there added an extra $10,000 to the sale value of the house because of the yard work I had done. Circumstances often force us to accept that which we are not wanting to. I explained it all I think several times over in the comments section on this video. I took the landlords to court, had lots of colour photos, written testimony for other agencies and yet the so called judge ruled in favour of the landlord on his word alone. Which in turn forced me to move to an even crappier location. I will not waste my money on such a farce of a hearing again.

In the end, it always comes down to the all mighty Paycheck, land owners help provide this, not only from paying higher tribunal fee but through taxes and property taxes. The system is corrupt, because a lot of the people within it are corrupt. Hell I'd even go as far as to say Board Member Elizabeth Beckett is corrupt. The paper work on the house is in the mans wife's name Farzana Sajjad. The one responsible for renting (the husband), is responsible for maintenace and repairs and rent collection, basically any interactions with the tenant, his name is Sajjad Haider.

That was my thoughts at first. The trinal was held two days, one day per month, the first day the judge seemed completely on our side, even awarded us a months free rent. The second day the landlord showed up with a lawyer, two of his workers and some falsified work orders. And although they still couldn't present a solid case and his worker had conflicting stories, I found myself being evicted and fined for having to go trough that crap. It was a complete turn around, without cause.

One of the things I know to be a complete and utter voilation of my rights was that I wasn't allowed to cross examine the landlords or the statements made by the landlords representatives. As far as I know, everone is supposed to have the right to cross examine. At least in a real court, this tribunal seemed the furthest thing away from being anything close to a real court or trial.

Can you appeal the decision of the tribunal hearing, or has it gone beyond being worth it now? I would continue to post the landlord's name and would add any business info that you have as well. They can't turn a profit if people know what they're about, and profit is all that keeps them in the business.

I had a month in which to appeal it, but being given 10 days to vacate I had a choice, either use my money to move or use it to fight this injustice, and judging by the results the first time, I think I made the right decision. And seeing the Tribunal doesn't follow it on rules I think anyone should concider the same. Do it the way you get justice, screw the unfair system. You have a point though about profit. The Ontario Tribunal is in for profits I believe. At $45. per tenant vs $150. landlord

Funny thing is I only had the Property Standards fix the lower two floors, I did that just incase I was going th get $#!+ on by the system. Ironically friends of the landlord recently rented the place thinking it was all repaired, I heard they was taking a shower on the 2nd floor and the whole thing collapesed into the kitchen on the floor below. Ontario Housing Tribunal Update: Today I went to court against this landlord. I had well over 200 photos of the damages, legal documentation from Property Standards, the Tecnical Standards & Safety Association, and the Health Dept. I had signed evidence from neighbouring businesses stating the house was in a state of serious disrepair. I had this and other videos and audio on disk.

I couldn't present it though, as they (the court) are still using old technology (VHS). I did everything by the book and with all honesty. I went all winter without heat or hot water. Yet this was not enough for the Ontario Housing Tribunal. To add insult to injury, the landlord made a counter claim, stating I did these damages, I broke windows while without heat in the middle of winter, I appearantly did cause the years worth of disrepair and damages.

What's worse, the landlord filing the counter claim, for some unknown reason, did not need to attend, I asked to call them to the stand and the judge dimissed my calling of them to testify. The other landlord made up false papers, his witnesses couldn't even get their stories straight. They lied under oath, claimed they couldnt make repairs because I was never home. Yet at the same time they saw the aledged damages I have done, and one went as far as to say I sold drugs to him. Yet I wasnt home?

The landlord's had no evidence to back these claims. No copies of reciepts or legal documentation varifying their claims. Contradictory stories came from him and his witness, one confessed to being a drug addict in court. Starting yelling when it came my turn to question him. Basically they lied through the whole process. And guess what happened, I have 14 days to move and $1,500. dollars in hydro bills from sapce heaters.

He claimed to the judge he had given me $350 to buy a couple cans of foam insulation. He claimed the broken windows seen in the video were done by me and stated that they each cost over $1,200. The judge even asked how he came to this figure, he did not answer. However, he got off scot free, and is now being allowed to do this to someone all over again. This is Justice in Hamilton Ontario, were the dirty and guity thrive and the innocent are victimized. This is Kangaroo Court.

That's exactly why I didn't call them yet, bad enough all winter without heat or hot water. Wasn't ready to thrust myself in the dark also, it can wait. Good news the city put in a new furnace and water heater, court seems to be going well now also. Landlord called for adjournment, said he was unprepared, was crying for a lawyer.

It was rough, to say the least, took a lot of losses on live house plants, which is a part of my business. Yup I hope they get him too, he does this to all his tenants, in all his homes and apartments. I hear the province is concidering criminal charges against him. But is looking good so far.

Unless this was the only option I think that I would have just moved away, If I had to stay there #1 Priority would be to haul all the trash out of the house then give everything a good scrubbing, $1.00 gallon of bleach and mild soap and water go a long way! But we each do what we can and should hold others up to standards.

Oh I've done all that before I even released this video. The current and outstanding problems are no hot water and no heat, this has been ongoing for 4 months now. Every month the landlord collects his rent and promises repairs, and then disappears till rent is due again.

Hey, I did say that, but i can't remember when or where now. All I know from being on line, I'm seeming quite popular to the ladies in the Phils and Indonesia. I have over 25o friends at a site called friendster, about 240 of them are female so sounds like a good place to be :D Besides I like the flora and fauna of tropical areas, I had both a business in both plants and pets before all this happened.

Thank you, and seeing it completely ruined the usually family get together over the holidays, it will only serve to make him look worse. I couldn't bath, cook or have heat over the holidays. But I bet it didn't affect his Christmas.

Update: For all the incriminating evidence I had, it was nothing in the eyes of Board Member Elizabeth Beckett and the landlords spoken testimony, without any backing evidence, was more than enough for her. Mock Justice is what it's called, if it were real it would have turned out differently.

What more a shame is how the court let him get away with it in light of all my evidence and other government documents supporting my claim Over 200 photos, written testimonials, and other supporting documentations. And can you believe Judge Elizabeth Beckett, didn't know the difference between Carbon Monoxide emissions and Carbon Dioxide. It would have been cheaper for me to hire a crackhead with a baseball bat.

Ya and I can get thrown out on the street in the middle of winter. Do you think this city cares about it's people? They only care about there own asses, which most of them are anyways. I will take him to court, but you have to be careful who you call. I already made that mistake once and my gas was shut off. Like I said they only care about themselves, not I, and guess what? I feel the same about them :)

For an update on this reply, I did take the guy to court, but after I seen how flawed and biased the system is first hand, never again will I ever seek justice through such corrupt individuals and or agencies. There's more than one way to skin a cat ;)
