It's Harrys POV which means it's how he sees it. And even if she is a Mary Sue she's not a bad one (like a certian female character in Twilight....) and (just though of this now..)

Honestly I never liked the hermione harry relationship. Hermione was always to annoying. Though in the movies they do make it seem more Hermione and Harry, but the books its pretty much clear from book 1 who Harry will be with. I was surprised so many people didn't see it coming.
I like H/G.. That's the way JK Rowling wrote it but of course we can respect our opinions.. I think Ginny's amazing, she's one of my idols.. Second best, atleast.. First is Luna Lovegood. :)

Explain H/Hr to me because I just can't figure out how anyone in their right minds could ship it. No one will even give me any sort of reason (and I have asked ALOT of H/Hr shippers) and I am very curious. Please!
Why do I ship HHr? Because it makes sense. Ron and Hermione do nothing but argue constantly, and they're idea of love is based on nothing but jealousy and lust. But Harry and Hermione have trust, chemistry and they're loyal to each other. She is always there for him, and at times is the only one who can get through that thick skull of his. In OoTP when Harry thought he was being possessed by Voldemort, Hermione was the one that got him to out of the room and she went straight to him, not Ron.

It began as infatuation, but Ginny came to love Harry because of his strength and determination; Harry loved her back for her fierce spirit, humor, and passion. Ginny and Hermione were *friends*. If you don't like that, then fine - but there's no need for all the vitriol.

As for the video itself, some parts were extremely fitting, and therefore really funny: like the skeleton in the Chamber bit and Ginny @ 2:44. I loved your timing and clip choice in many parts, but a lot of the vid could have used more eclectic clip choice and finer editing of the clips, because the overall feel was kind of jumbled and not continuous. Have you ever seen melctiney's "Girlfriend"? (I'm not trying to convert you! It's just that that vid has a very fluid feel to it.)
I find that problem with my editing a lot... I think part of the reason on this one was that I got so sick of the song I just wanted to finish and stopped caring as much about the quality.
I agree with hermioneXRon4eva. If Ginny's such a MarySue then what exactly *is* her stereotype? And that insults J.K. Rowling's ability and talent as a writer, to write off one of her main characters in such a callous fashion.
I'm ok with insulting JKR's writing abilities. I think that she did a really bad job with the last two books. The fifth one was even slightly weak. If she had written the characters differently, and not decided to make everybody change so suddenly (and given Ginny a bigger role in the first four books), I'm think I might have been able to accept the canon. But seventh book was boring, the sixth was pretty useless since the part about the Horcruxes could have been added to the fifth.
I think Rowling started to bring Ginny out in GoF: her jibe when the boys got turned down. Ron said @ the Burrow in CoS that she usually doesn't shut up. In OOtP, I agree that changes were sudden but sound. Harry had just seen Voldemort return, & Cedric die, & no one believed him. Ginny started to move on & relax; Harry still didn't notice her until HBP. Narrative misdirection... it's not that Ginny changed abruptly so much that Harry *noticed* it abruptly; she just sort of... crept upon him ;)

Dating other people to get what she wants. That's manipulitive. Since it was dating (and obviously snogging and who knows what else), I say I have proof. However, that's my opinion. Think what you want.

I am totally anti Harry/Hermione but I thought this video was cute and kind of amusing.
