I perform this song too (and I'm Jeffrey too) and this is a lovely version. Nice job (some cuts were a little odd but no reflection on your performance).
Very nice cover. I have a question: what is the guitar called that you are using? I ask because I have heard this distinct sound of this guitar from several live performances from my favorite vocalist Lizz Wright. Interesting. And great vocal scale at the end. Thank you.
It's a Parker Fly Concert. It's just got Piezo pickups under the bridge. The body and neck are made of a composite material with a thin layer of spruce on the body. It weighs 3 pounds!! I love that guitar so much.
dude this is awesome. really awesome. there is something about your voice, thats really unique and NOT mainstream. plus i like the way youplay the guitar. it is similair to jeff's verison. but it's still your own. i also like how sang the lyrics you put a few little words in that arent in thr lyrics but prove that the song means something to you. as covers go this is almost 6 stars. but i can only vote 5 stars
Hah! found you on Youtube. I don't know if you look back on your days at Warren-Wilson with fondness. Judging from your rasta song, you were aware of at least some of the hypocrisy. I was there. I loved your ORIGINAL songs (bought the CD after hearing you play in Sage Cafe). Post them, my friend. You have an amazing songwritign talent; forget covers. Peace. -Teagen
Jeff! You are so talented!!!

Beautiful. Only cover I've seen that has really captured the feeling you get when listening to Jeff Buckley.

Thanks to all of y'all! BTW, my wife is from Needham, near Boston. That's how I ended up with the hoody. I'm a New Orleans native, dawlin'.
