  • I love this song =)

I really like the way u do it !!

    felicidadess!!!

  • excelente!!!!

  • Genial, sinceramente.

  • Muy bueno!!

  • Definitely one of my early favorites. I've must have played the beginning of this song hundreds of times...Martin's honky-tonk intro and then Harrison's voice into the song just created that perfect Beatles sound.

    Great job!

  • @Chorddual1

    thanks!

  • Great!!

  • Great great clap clap clap nice job!!! of the most underrated Beatle song

  • God Finger!

  • oh i love it! it makes me cry and smile simultaneously)

  • thanks!

  • George would slap you on the back and congratulate you for this. You really did his song justice. Is it possible for you to send me the tabs / chords for this ? Im not familiar with all the chords that youre using. They are probably inversions. Hare Krishna ! as George would say.

  • i love it!

  • Great job on this tune. It's been a long time since I heard it and you did it well!

  • thanks buddy

  • try blackbird and strawberry f ...good job by the way

  • man that was beautiful playing well done mate 10/10

  • good call on You Like Me Too Much, one of the more underrated George tunes, the first signal that he would eventually become a great songwriter

  • Now why I know why they wrote "Classical Gas"...for you. Bravo.

  • u really make my days better

and that shirt looks the best on you!

  • usted es un maestro, congratulaciones.

    you are a teacher, congratulations.

  • alright! i love it! i am a fan of beatles too...

  • how about "She's Leaving Home"

  • working on it now, in fact.

  • You're awesome!!!

  • respect.

  • Once again I realy like this one!! please make a link to download this one because I want to play it on my mp3 player. Greets Niels;)

  • BRILLIANT!!!!

  • sounds great man

    fantastic !!!!!!!

  • My fave one =D could please do I Call Your Name?

or hey jude, i bet everyone is waiting to sing the 'narananaaa' part while you play it

i don't wanna sound pushy hah but keep on with the beatles work

amazing playing!! i really enjoy your videos

    greetings from argentina

  • thanks. I'd do "i call your name". Not a big fan of "hey jude" and no one will ever cover it as well as that little Korean kid in his diapers anyhow. :D

  • dude that was sick(Y) good job keep making vids(Y) :):):):):)

  • Really great job! I also enjoyed Don't Talk by the Beach Boys... and so many others you do!

  • These Beatles sessions are the best I have heard in a long time, but I also have enjoyed the samba/bossa nova recordings. If this music were available on CD, I would buy it for sure! Are these recordings on CD?

    Thanks

  • thanks. i don't have any cd's but maybe some day.

  • I would def buy this cd if it was for sale. You do amazing jobs on these songs.

  • im a big beatles fan.. wow..

  • Super playing.How about a version of Iv'e just seen a face?.

  • Top notch.

  • ...no, I don't. I extremely like your instrumental versions. since I heard some, I am thinking about, if the Amelie-piece by Yann Tiersen could be played on guitar. I dont know if it is possible, but it would sound incredible (in my imagination). ;o)

  • Excellent! I was going to ask you to make a Beatles playlist, but I read you already made one! I'm always going to be listening to this when I'm online now! Thanks for your time!

  • great!! yeah!!congratulations!

  • man oh man. not only are these songs exceptionally executed, you're playing all the ones i like! (beatles songs, though the bossa nova's great, too.) did i see "this boy" up here?

  • nah, i've been thinking about doing that one. I did the similar "yes it is" though. thanks. I have a playlist called "Beatles" you can check out.

  • I'm speechless, you're great playing in such a beautiful way. How you combine the melodies is amazing, specially replacing tha sound of the piano... I'm going to continue watching your videos. Thanks, wonderful playing.

  • thanks a lot for watching

  • this is awesome. george would've been proud! I love the "if yoooou leavee me part." and don't even get me started on that solo. Anyways, I'm dyiiiiing to see what you can do with "don't let me down (the one off the naked album)" that would be the bessst. wink wink, hint hint.

  • thanks for all the recent comments. i often think that "don't let me down" would work well cause it's got a sort of latin feel to it. then I start playing it while listening and it doesn't hold up as solo guitar....yet.

I know it *could* work, it's just not coming to me. great suggestion, though.

    cheers.

  • nothing to speak!

    only...excellent work !

  • speechless again. i apologise but you're gonna get bored of me telling you im speechless when i view every video of yours!

  • no problem, buddy. thanks. watch em all

  • yeah i have been. fantastic beatles covers, they're my favourite band and i think you've done them proud!

out of curiosity how long have you been playing?

  • Beautiful...my favourite Beatles song...

  • You've done George really proud here. Can I humbly request you do his "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" too?

I'm very sure there are LOTS of us out here who would love to see how you will render it.

  • I've listened to the Fab Four since I was a kid, and I've never, in these past 40 years, seen anybody interpret their work instrumentally the way you have.

You have captured the soul of their music, and injected a lot of yourself into your arrangements as well.... an inspiration to me, and everybody else who loved The Beatles' work too, I'm sure!

I believe we'll be hearing much, much more about you in the near future. Keep up this great work, and thank you!

  • One of your most spirited renditions my friend - is it because the door is closed rather than ajar? Will we ever know? Do we care, as long as you play so beautifully!

  • :D Thanks Buddy. Not sure about the door thing. Maybe I'll have to test your theory on my future videos

  • That was amazing... especially the begging...isnt it originally done on a piano? anyways if it is... it makes this even better... i wish i could play that well.. u kik arss.. :)

  • I think George would have loved your rendition!

  • lovely song and lovely sound, I listened to all of your videos with the songs of the beatles- please play some more songs of them

I really would like to hear ticket to ride especially with your guitar. excellent musician!

  • i love the song and i love this version! nice job!

  • wow, thats brilliant. love it.

  • that was very nice to listen...congratulations

  • OK I am a really fussy Beatles fan but you totally do them justice. Lovely cover!!!

  • great as usual.....some real unusual voicings. i would love to see your interpretation of queens 'these are the days of our lives'

  • What planet are you from? Nobody from earth can play like that...though we would love to learn!

  • Man if you release albums with all your beatles/queen covers I'd buy them right away no questions asked...

  • jaypers did you do the complete beatles. sweetly and classically played.

  • I'm an old guy myself, and expected this to be lame, but omg, how dare you be so skilled! Effing unbelievable! George would approve!!!

  • thanks. glad you liked it.

  • He's not that old!

  • Dear Cleffy, you have done it again. I repeat myself, and hope that Maxwell's Silver Hammer segued with Carpet Crawlers might make it into the consciousness of musical history.

  • Hey man, do you happen to have to notes for this song, so that I too can play it on my classical guitar?

  • I have nothing written.

  • You are not playing only the hits of the beatles. I think, that is nessesary? (my english is not good). Mostly you can hear let it be, yesterday, in my life etc.

    Your playing is very good.

    Thank You.

  • Thanks. Yes, i like to play more than the hits. I prefer the non-hits. Of any band.

  • Great.....

  • thanks

  • The fab four rarely came close to your exquiisite arrangements. A weird but possibly wonderful request.......Maxwell's Silver Hammer sigued with Carpet Crawlers........if anyone can do it, it;s Cleffy!!

  • great...great...i love the playing because...he has soul..and you can hear it...plays with passion and u can hear it...thanks this one is cool

  • very nicely done friend and great sounding hybrid you have there :)

just waiting for Matt(sully) to jump on this and get a cover going :)

    -Clint

  • that would be cool. thanks

  • Marvilous! Outra qualidade sua, além do bom gosto, é tocar as músicas nos tons originais. Em breve lhe envio uns vídeos onde toco MPB ao violão. Um abraço!

  • obrigado

  • Very nice!

  • Nice version

    well done

  • where do you hide the sheet music?!!!! :)) fantastic arrangement and so true. thank you!

  • This may be Harrison's best. You certainly do it justice.

    Thanks for the music.

  • I love your playing and your choice of Beatles tunes.More please!

  • I listen to your songs when I want to mellow out--this is brilliant stuff. Appreciate you playing some of the more obscure Harrison tunes, which have gorgeous melodies and really lend themselves to your style of play. thanks friend

  • thanks. yeah, i like digging out the old chestnuts rather than playing the obvious uber-covered numbers.

  • Just visiting...

    Hi there!!!

I thought I was a Beatles' fan but never heard of this one. You are too much for my knowledge! :)

  • thanks. you can hear the original on a video in the "related videos" section to the right >>>

  • i think someone said it already but i just gotta say it

harrison is sure smiling and feeling good about what he did for music

and u just make him justice

    very good

    muy bien

    mhh..

i have also kinda noticed that u do really good on ur harrison's compositions

i feel that u got the feeling he was tryin to get to us

    thx

  • thanks a lot. well, i try anyhow.

  • Your best yet. Harrison was an incredible writer and you do the song justice.

  • thank you

  • How did you manage to capture this song of Harrison? So goooood!!!!!

  • Once again, I can't believe how amazingly serene you style is! You should talk to a local college station about having the "Acoustic Beatle's Hour", or something of the sorts! Would you possibly be taking requests in the near future? I think you would do "This Boy", amazingly!

  • wow I love this song and you captured everything and everyone...

  • thanks!

  • This is your best composition so far, but im not sure if it was the easiest to do. Are you going to be doing more? i think you could do a great one of a day in the life, du know where im coming from?

  • Hi Tony, great job, always liked this Harrison Tune and you did a great job on it,first Class. Hop over if you like and tell me what you think of "In my life" finger style arrangement, be hearing from you,Victor.

  • I wish I could play like u

  • Have been watching videos here for a couple of months now, and just had to become a youtube subscriber today to tell you (and a few others)how much I enjoy your videos. This is my first post ever. Please keep 'em comin----kf.

  • just wondering if u manage to get these videos down in one take?

  • OH MY!!! you're amazinnggg!!!!!

and you make it look so easy!!!

    wow, beatles rule.

    and you too!

  • great guitar work. dig it.

  • Excellent! I really appreciated how you kept the bass notes going, during the guitar solo. This wasn't regarded as much of a song back in 1965, but your performance really brings out how great it is.

  • beyooteeful. so many things going on at once! I could tell you really like this one. Nice job keeping the back and forth bass line going!

  • Very nice arrangement,

    thank you

    Patrice

  • and thank you!

  • WOW!

  • This was one of my father's favourites from the Beatles, aside from Something and also "Yes IT IS" (do you know it?)

  • Thanks, buddy. That sounds like a drag. Like you said though, you'll get through it. cheers.

  • dude, how do you do what you do?... I listened to the Help album the other day!!.great album.. you got everything done from the organ, the beat, vocal melody, the rhythm guitars..... Your awesome man!!

  • well, i guess the idea is to figure out what you can put in and what to leave out. "know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em". So, anyway, it's not *everything* on the song. and it still needs some getting it under my fingers.

    thanks!

  • Brilliant!

  • Thats awesome man, keep it up.

  • pure pleasure to hear this - thank you!

  • please as a request do sexy sadie from the white album i think you'll find its worth a look

  • FANTASTIC--It seems like it was made for fingerstyle playing!

  • excellent, as always!

  • well done

  • Nicely done.

  • Excellent Tony have a good Christmas and a good new year...Will be thinking of ya over them... And keep them toons coming

    Lynn From Scotland

  • Thanks, Lynn. You too. Have a robust wassail and hearty yule and piquant saturnalia. Tons more tunes coming right up.

  • Ancora complimenti! Sei davvero molto bravo! Can you play anything about Nick Drake? Buone feste Natalizie!

  • Thanks. I get a lot of requests for Nick. The songs suffer a bit from not being sung (and I certainly don't want to try), so I'll have to do some karaokes at some point.

  • Wonderful played, I just had forgotten this old tune. But with your HELP it's alive again. Thanks and have a merry christmas, Bernd.

  • You too man. Thanks.

  • Great . Have a merry Christmas and thanks for al your music this year. Realy enjoyed it!

    PAscal.

  • Thanks Pascal! Happy Christmas to you.

  • great as always!

  • Another masterful job of a Beatles tune by trebleclef! Bravo!

  • Great obscure gem off "Help". You are the Gold Standard on YouTube.

  • can t help but sing the lyrics along with this

I really liked George's stuff after the Beatles (yes even the 80s stuff) but my fave album is "All Things Must Pass" lots of gold in there

  • thanks. I think my favorite solo album is "George Harrison" (the one with "Blow Away" on it). I think that actually tops "All things" for me. It takes me back to a particularly nice late winter/early spring when it came out. My favorite song on it is "Your love is forever". ahhhhhhhh

  • ah yes...what's better than a new video post from you? One that's been posted on a Friday night! Always a treat!!

  • Two thumbs up!

    Cheers,

    Stephen

  • awesome :))))

    cheers,

    Alex

  • thanks Alex! cheers, mate.

  • You have a wonderfully fluid and seemingly effortless command of the fingerboard, as was once again demonstrated here (from 1:30 to 1:45 in particular). It's a delight to watch you do stuff like this!

  • Can i ask for a song?

(If you would say yes, then keep reading).

I think it would rock if you played "The great gig in the sky".

  • lol oh man

  • Yes, but can I wail like the wailing woman? Without the wailing the song doesn't quite hold up. It is one of my favorite songs on that album for sure and there's parts that would work instrumentally and it is fun to play. Maybe i'll do a "karaoke" version sometime.
